I definitely agree that there are a lot of channels out there that don't actually get it. I feel like a lot of people jumped on the hype as an easy way to grow a popular youtube channel but they don't understand ASMR themselves. But yes, I've gotten tingles all my life. I hope you enjoyed your binge :)
I absolutely love your use of language. The choice of words, the attentive phrasing, the neutral yet colorful accent; everything. How did you develop such an elegant way of speaking, especially considering (I assume) English is not your native language?
Thank you so much for such a thoughtful comment! I think my accent is the result of a fight for dominance. My first language is (Flemish) Dutch. In school we are taught British English, but from a young age I was already consuming so much content in American English. So the two clashed and this is what came out, mainly North-American, but with a little more care. For me personally, the voice and speech pattern are the most important part of ASMR, so for most videos I'm mindful to slow it down, so I can give each syllable the attention it deserves and pay extra attention to my T and K sounds. I'm glad you like it :)
The sweater is so beautiful and you look phenomenal in it! The lint rolling sounds and how your hands move describing the knit is tingle heaven. Love the video!
I’ve watched this probably 100 times in the past few months. My favorite ASMR video of all time. 🥰 Can’t wait for the corset video! I really appreciate your work and your channel, thank you.
You have made a masterpiece with this video. For me,slow and gentle is the key.Plus, your voice and way of speaking gives me tingles. You truely make magic with a lint roller!
Thank you! It's Javanese Batik fabric, maybe you can find a similar pattern. I love it so much that I usually just wash it and immediately put it back on the tables. (It helps that it doesn't really need ironing).
Love the short sweatshirt. Or whatever you call that :) I thought it would've costed way more than what you mentioned. Being hand-knit and all. Like you said. Takes money to have morals!
Thank you! And so true! And there's still people that question her prices, like she sometimes has to remind people why her garments cost what they cost *facepalm*
Love, love, love, love, LOVE this video! Also the top is gawgeous on you Danielle, Shelby is very talented. Hope you and yours are keeping safe and healthy 😘
Thank you so much, Laura! So far my dad, sisters, niece and I have all managed to stay physically healthy. My dad is getting his second vaccine soon. We'll still stay careful to protect others, but I feel like it'll be the first time in over a year we'll really be able to breathe. I hope the same for you and yours family!
I also have ‘wash days!’ I make sure to wear my oldest shirts and not to lean on furniture! I would love to know the psychology/physiology why we all love lint rolling?!?? It’s such an amazing trigger!
That's awesome! I love everything she makes but this one was the first one I thought could really work for me and my style. So glad you like it, thank you!
In alcuni momenti quando riesci a sussurrare bene con la voce sei veramente fantastica, insieme al movimento delle mani sembri veramente un artista dell'ASMR, at some moments when you can whisper well with the voice you are really fantastic, together with the movement of the hands you really look like an ASMR artist
Hi. It's a pity you don't like men, because...damn woman. Great handmade sweater, such beautiful items are totally worth your money. And of course, great ASMR, as always.
I can totally see how someone would find it weird. To me it's important to actively participate in correcting the imbalance white supremacist delusion has created in this world. So I buy Black-owned whenever I can and use my little platform here to hopefully make some other people consider doing the same, so that's why I'll keep mentioning it
@@ASMRvelous that's fair. Using a person's race as the determining factor of purchasing a product seems a bit racist (a thing white supremacists do). Nice asmr video though.
@@VolatilePatient this is proof of it. Also what's your basis of saying reverse racism doesn't exist? Also why do you say racism is an attitude/ mindset/ behavior against only black people?
Terms like racism are not just words, they are sociological constructs. Speaking as a sociologist (before you ask "what's my basis"), reverse racism does not exist because BIPOC do not currently have the power systems behind them to let a white person experience actual racism. You can be prejudiced, you can discriminate against them, but racism as a social construct holds much more than that. We would need centuries of systematic prejudice and discrimination against white people for a term like reverse racism to start to make sense. Like, for example, I'm skinny. Someone can tell me "I think skinny people are ugly." That might kind of suck for me at that moment, but I can feel comforted and soothed by the fact that the beauty ideal in most of the world is on my side. It's kind of like that. The opinion of one, versus the entire way the world is structured.
The world we live in is such that in the case of two items with the same quality, the Black-owned one will have less of a chance. For a myriad of reasons starting from even having a dream of your own business, to the opportunities to learn the craft, the process of getting business loans, and even the order search engine results, to name a few. I choose to actively correct this imbalance, because that is what aligns with my values. If you disagree with this, then good grief I don't want your view.
It is super relevant though. White supremacy must come to an end and by actively supporting BOB's people are taking a step in the right direction. White people should invest in being anti-racist not just non-racist. Trying to uphold the imbalance by fencing with terms like colourblindness just will not do anymore. So yes... skin colour: very relevant!
You make magic with a lint roller and your elegant, gentle hands. Thank you. 💚
She just makes magic full stop! 😉
Thank you both kindly :)
I love coming here and knowing there'll be no commercials to scare me half to death. You rock!
Yesssss! That remains super important to me

Just what I needed after a long day on the road/client meetings. This really helped me wind down and clear my head. Thank you!
That honestly sounds horrible to me, I'm glad I was able to help you unwind after that
I like that there's some whispering in this, alongside the lint rolling. Really soothing. Thank you. Really glad I subscribed to your channel 🙂
I'm so glad :) thank you!

I'm in love with the fabric on the table you're sitting at - its just exquisite. I covet it ❤

I loved , I love your voice!!!
Thank you!
Thank you for the video.
No problem, Sands :) thank you for watching
The sweater looks beautiful on you. Feminine, but with an edge. I checked out the business website. She makes some very cool and unique pieces.
That's awesome! I love everything she makes but this one was the first one I thought could really work for me and my style. So glad you like it, thank you!
