- After a man and woman are found in their apartment, the detectives delve into the similarities between the murders, uncovering further homicides, and leading them to one witness... a child.
Season 6, Episode 16 'Ghost': A series of drug-related hits leads the detectives back to the notorious drug lord Cesar Velez. The detectives are left with one survivor (Reymond Wittman), a scared child whom the drug lords are trying to finish off. The gun used in the murders is linked to Liam Connors (Brían F. O'Byrne), one of Velez's top agents. Connors has a strong defense which almost gets him acquitted until Benson and Stabler arrest him for trying to kill ADA Alexandra Cabot a year earlier. Alex returns from witness protection to assist with the case.

I loved how Liam Connors got the shock of his life when he realized that Alexandra Cabot was still alive, and how Alex taunted him in court, calling him a coward and terrible at shooting since he failed to kill Alex and Antonio. I also loved the headline the used:
ALEXANDRA CABOT RETURNS FROM THE DEAD!
I love it!
Maybe the Sons had a beef 😂😂😂
Same character name, IRA story, and same real actor as "Connor" from SOA 😂
Exactly which episode does she supposedly "die" in? I have been watching this series in bits and pieces and I am confused now, lol. I didn't know Novak had a fake out death.
@@Solararisa It was the season 5 episode "Loss" from 2003 where ADA Alex Cabot was targeted by the Colombian drug cartels, and the FBI had to keep her safe in witness protection and announcing to the public that she's dead.
She definitely taunted him so that he’d get knocked down a peg before Antonio got on the stand.
every time i see a random clip of law and order olivia has a different hairstyle 😂 i love it
It's from different seasons
That’s the beauty of it tho it tells you what season you’re watching lol 😂
@@tiredstrawberry0576 right. even with the later seasons she's got that shoulder length bob but you can tell what season by if it has waves in it or if its left straight 🤣
@@tiredstrawberry0576 true
Like a true baddie 😂
This is still one of my favorite _Law & Order SVU_ episodes, especially since it features the return of Alexandra Cabot.
I remember now , I had forgotten about that lol I loved that episode , reminds me of Emily 's return to Criminal Minds , two of the very best shows on TV .
“Mmmm. They really did a number on this one.”
Always so callous 😂
You do a job like that long enough you eventually get pretty desensitized to all the blood and horror.
Cops, firefighters, doctors, nurses all develop a morbid sense of humor after being on the job for a few years, and who can blame them 😂
Law & Order Detectives find a dead body:
"What's the deal with airplane food???"
Cops are pretty Jaded
@@Jamietheroadrunner don’t forget morticians.
The reveal of the husband was definitely a minor jump scare.
it was literally the thumbnail
I knew he was dead when I saw the suitcases.
Awful marriage if you don’t talk to your wife all weekend and still don’t realize something is wrong.
I had a minor jumpscare when the kid was alive.
@@dietotakui didnt even realise that 😂
@@dietotaku thanks genius. I was talking about the odd editing in the clip and how the dead dude seemingly jumped out of the screen.
The kid part always breaks my heart and I love Alex Cabot in court lol
Lol when the kid referred to the Irish guy as “el fantasma” 😂
I dont speak spanish, but wouldnt "el fantasma" be a feminine version aka a woman ? "El fantismo" would be the masculine...
@@Wolffen51 No it's a masculine only word.
@@Wolffen51Portuguese speaker here. Spanish is similar so I can answer that for you.
Most of the nouns in our languages have gender distinction, but not all of them. "Fantasma" is a neutral gender word, and in both Spanish and Portuguese the neutral gender generally gets an masculine article. "El fantasma de la mujer". Not sure if "La fantasma" can be used, tho.
@@jairomy ok thank you...as I say I dont speak spanish so I wasnt sure
@@kingvxnny ok thanks
10:00 - "I'm unarmed...." yet shows he is in possession of two arms XD
Ba dum tsh🥁😂
@@TheSegacampGamerandWerecamp r/whooosh
@@TheSegacampGamerandWerecamp You do understand the concept of comedy, right? It's a joke/pun!
@@TheSegacampGamerandWerecamp ...
Irish joke, nice.
"no one sees him coming, no one's left alive to see him leave" then how do they know who he is?
I’m sure murders like that make their way around communities. Just like how serial killers get named by the media, he also got a name. No evidence + no testimony certainly makes it seem as if a ghost did it
That's why they gave him the name "the ghost"
@@andreachilton6037 But they already knew his real name and even had a photo of him in the computer. 🤷♀
@@Rosawyn True, but sadly the general public doesn't have open access to the criminal database (in any country). Plus Connors wouldn't be the only contract killer under the employ of the Colombian drug cartels, so they wouldn't use him all the time to tie up loose ends.
I mean if a highly organised crime syndicate had a single contract killer working 24/7 sorting out every person that was considered a perennial thorn, then he/she wouldn't harbour such ephemeral nicknames.
The remnants. Everything leaves a trace.
One of the best episodes! It has that classic murder mystery storyline and police chase
I liked the actor who played Mike. But he only had two appearances, really wanted to see him coming back.
Conor's IRA character story goes along with his IRA story at the end of SOA. 😂😂
Same actor, too 😂
Homicide Phantom sounds similar to Jack the Ripper. To this day, none of us know who Jack the Ripper really was. Scary! 😱🥶🤯
Actually they did identify Jack the Ripper about five years ago.
That was due to shoddy police work actually. The crime scene analysis and forensics were unheard at the time. They suspect a few people but the most promising one turned out to be false due to non matching of some DNA evidence a few years back. Thoughty 2 did a pretty good video about it. He thinks it was the first witness to the first victim. The dude was literally standing above the corpse when someone else saw him. He said he didn't want any hassle and went away.
All I could hear when they were jumping around was “PARKOUR! PARKOUR! PARKOUR!”
I love the Mike character. Wish he was still around.
So the husband and wife ripped off money from a drug lord. Are they insane?
More like they were dumb enough to think a border would protect them.
Greed can make people VERY stupid
Tbh I thought he was boutta jump into the water
He was, but he reconsidered. Swimming would be a bad way to escape as is, but in heavily polluted waters its a death sentence.
He was, then the Officer told him "drink a mouthful of that and you'll die in a week."
I was thinking, If that's the Gowanus canal, you don't drown- you dissolve. Probably one of the most polluted bodies of water on the planet. Under that water is something they call "black mayonnaise." Absolute environmental nightmare.
9:45 -- I was sure he was going to jump in the river and get away.
Money always has a louder voice than patriotism. It's the only reason why someone like Liam Connors would take up work as a Sicario.
"Fighting for peace" is such an oxymoron statement
"Homocide : A Lefe on the Streeets"
Gotta run that speel chek one mor time
Love Sandoval's Superman dive from the car during the chase scene.
The kid who almost died is like Harry Potter and the ghost is like Voldemort.
Who would allegedly kill an ada and not ditch the gun?
An idiot
I love Alexander Cabot. Dont get me wrong Cassie Novak grew on me but alex will always be my favorite D.A
That’s a Ponzi scheme not a pyramid scheme
What’s the difference?
No, it's actually a pyramid scheme. If you've watched the episode of Castle, "Poof! You're Dead," Christian Dahl was always in the "right place at the right time" to "help a victim." This is a pyramid scheme, because the people making the checks get more money than what they lent out at first, but the investment became dwindled.
A pyramid scheme is run on the idea that the more people who pay into it, the more each person gets paid out later on. So you're encouraged to recruit people to it.
Whereas a Ponzi scheme asks that you front the money to whatever company or investment idea, and trust the other guy to manage everything for you.
@@taluca8474 Is it that hard to google it?
@@taluca8474 In a Ponzi scheme, the schemer acts as a "hub" for the victims, interacting with all of them directly. In a pyramid scheme, those who recruit additional participants benefit directly.

Brían F. O'Byrne is such a great actor!
I remember him from the regrettably short-lived Brotherhood.
You misspelled 'Homicide' in the title.
He must be against certain types of people.
In the description too 😂
It's OK ☺️
Wow, it's Doctor Melendez from Good Doctor at 4:12 ^_^
As soon as I saw the thumbnail I thought, "Who could ever murder Dan Marino?"
Those are horrendous crimes.
Olivia walking right into their firing line at the end.
3:50 Dr Melendez 😂
Mmmm they really did a number on this one always so callous 😂
"I'm unarmed" Raises Gun and fires "To bad your Visa has been revoked"
I used to watch the end scene all the time on UA-cam at 8:26 Min Vid but can't find it any more.
Where's a part 2 for this?? I want to see the court scene!
I'm probably saw this episode years ago but too long to remember what happened to the psychopath and what happened to the kid
Its too bad Sandoval wasn't in more episodes. I liked his character more than Lake
The dead guy looks like of still alive oh wait still alive.
Omg thats DJ lol
Why will a mouthful of that water cause death in a week?
New York waterways are heavily polluted. No telling what you are actually ingesting.
Disease and toxic chemicals.
Drink too much water and you can die from it.
It's not only the toxicity. Considering everyone is wearing coats that water must be very cold. He would get undercooled very quickly, loose conscience and drown.
Some people don't think. ?
crazy how the wife is the bad guy in this episode

Title: Ghost
'haha drink a mouthful of that you'll die in a week!' probably true..
Sus as investment return
9:22 bro did NOT need to do allthat 😭
1:52 Wonder why they have to name this video homicide phantom
The potential for crossfire on the bridge at the end of the this video is stupid.

What episode in what season is this
Season 6 episode 16. It also says which season and episode in the description.
Watever happened to Antonio
At the end of the episode, Antonio goes into witness protection along with Alex Cabot, and they were both given different identities.
What episode
Read the description?
What is the significance of the blonde DA?
She's not actually dead, she's under witness protection. So they can't charge him with her murder
Alex was a main character for the early seasons of the show (2 - early 5). She was targeted by this cartel and almost killed; exited the show to enter witness protection. She was very close to the squad so her involvement hits them hard.
So what happened?
"Yes... They're always after me lucky charms..."

Misleading title. I thought it was going to be about hate crime towards homosexuals and that is the reason why SVU is involved.
Edit: They just changed the title...
Oh wow, only just noticed that error in the title!
It’s a continuation of the Season5 episode called Loss.
Ok
No true Irish man would rat out a member of the Irish Republican Army.

the dialogue on this show is so ridiculous and terible, I keep expecting Ice-T to speak in rhymes because why not?
