The thought of permafrost holding disease that we no longer have immunity to is a scary thought. Just one mistaken excavation or case of getting into wrong hands could be a real catastrophe.

In Titusville Florida across from NASA the Indian River lagoon is so polluted with PFAS and sewage it's a public hazard. It's not supposed to be a "lagoon" it's supposed to be part of the Atlantic Ocean BUT Army corp of Engineers and NASA decided to cut it off and make it a huge cesspool and contamination dump. That ½ cent tax to clean it up in 2016? Someone's pocket money
In CT there is a lake that also has a state park on it. All of the original homes were seasonal now made year rounders, with new houses also constructed. There is no public sewer and most lots cannot support an individual system by size. Guess where it all goes? Correct, it goes in the lake. There is constant plant and algae issues and the beach gets closed for bacteria counts.
This channel shouldn't surprise you , as far as their ineptitude is concerned.. It's glaringly apparent they don't prioritize accuracy or validity in the "facts" they present in these meandering, tangential video diatribes where they wander off all willy-nilly into whatever direction the topics lead and bleed into other related topics.. The main problem I have with this is the lack of verification where it seems they're merely citing other similar videos in this vein of content on this platform, prioritizing sensationalism over hard fact. Its a bad approach since it only serves to further bolster non-truths helping horseshit snowball out of control eventually ending up totally abandoning (and obscuring) any truth at all in certain examples =/ Sad, but true.. Truly.
Is there much wind around the Dead Sea? The problem with these bodies of water drying up is the desiccated shoreline and lake bed which can cause dust storms but also be a breeding ground for extremophile molds that then send spores and other toxic byproducts on the wind. The Salton Sea in California, for example, is going to have to be completely remediated to avoid the potential for a dust storm that could knock out agriculture across the region in a single season.
Those Chinese are absolutely everywhere lol. I get how large crowds can ruin experiences though. That is why I hate traveling to popular tourist places, especially peak season. @11:36 You state that the algae consume oxygen but thats only true at night and it’s not a significant amount. During the day through photosynthesis it produces oxygen far greater than it consumes at night! So what killed the fish must be something other than this explanation.
