- I composed this Heavy Rain and Thunder Sounds for Sleeping and as a Stress Relief Video. My focused was lying especially on the Thunder Sounds, keeping them near, without distracting the viewer was the main goal here. 😊 The Heavy Rain Sounds are composed of two older recordings I made some month ago I hope you like the combination of this Black Screen Video and as always I would be really happy, if you could write me a comment and give me feedback on the video.

What I really love about this audio is that it is constant and seamless, in a lot of recordings like these, there is an obvious point after five minutes or so where the audio starts again, once that happens your brain starts to search for sounds you’ve heard before/recognize and it keeps you stimulated/awake- the beauty of this is it’s hard to identify when that happens and you can truly relax!
Hi Zoggers, thanks for your lovely feedback. Indeed there are a lot of short loop videos out there and that was actually the motivation to start this channel. I only use long recordings, but still at some point I have to loop, because there is hardly a thunderstorm that is 10 hours long 😉
I agree so much about the loop becoming the brain's stimuli instead of it relaxing. I am grateful for however long you can make these beautiful rain sounds without the loop. Completely understand that at some point it needs to start over again.
Completely agree Zoggers, your brain then searches for it and the patterns as soon as you notice the break in audio where its looped. Luckily Edy knows what he's doing and has nailed this one. 🤙

I've played many of rain videos, but this one has to be my most favorite one so far!! The rain and thunder sounds are not too loud, or obnoxious, it's just right! I lost my husband of 30 years 5 months ago. The love of my life , my soulmate. I have been experiencing panic attacks and anxiety for about 4 months now. Yesterday I had a panic attack that lasted all day and I felt that I needed to go to the hospital. I finally realized yesterday that he is never coming home. My heart is shattered. Heading to bed I needed something to relax me and I found this video. I finally feel that I was able to get a decent amount of sleep. Thank you for the bottom of my shattered and mending heart. I'm about to come off of about 4 months working 12 hour nights, remote from home, and I live alone. Never felt so disconnected from pretty much everything. This, with some light Chopin over the top of it from time to time, has kept me sane at 3am while my eyes bleed staring at my screen many a nights.

Brings back fond childhood memories. I lived in a house that had very leafy foliage on it. In the spring when it rained, i would open the window to my bedroom and listen to the sound of the rain on the leaves and feel the cool breeze. Wrap myself in a blanket, with only my face exposed and sleep deeply. Thanks for the memories...🤗☺😴
Same memories here wendell! I could just look outside of the window, while I was lying in my bed. Always had the perfect panoramic view when the thunder was coming in. It was always kind of scary, but I knew that I was save. 😊

I can't tell you how much this video has helped me with my sleep issues. I've been suffering with insomnia and PTSD for over 20 years as well as very rare & debilitating muscle dïseases😣
Since I have found this video, this is the ONLY one that actually relaxes me, puts me to sleep almost instantly BUT my FAVORITE part is the beginning when you talk & count down, you have the most AMAZING and SOOTHING voice.

I love this video because the rain does not sound like bacon frying or just repeats of short audio over and over. I especially listen to this while traveling - to go to sleep in hotel rooms with the heavy footed people above me chomping around or those that have kids running , jumping and screaming above me - all night long.

What a relaxing mix. I sometimes have trouble sleeping and end up wide awake, staring at the ceiling. This is due to stress which makes it difficult to relax my mind and body. Your rain and thunder is one of the best of this type. Some similar Rain/Thunder mixes sound like they are on a loop and I notice it and I still can't relax. I haven't noticed that problem here. There is only one suggestion I have and that would be to have the rain fall at different rates. Rain rarely stays at a consistent rate. That's not a big issue though because I can still feel my body relaxing within a few minutes. Enough to sleep. Thank you!

My husband and I have different sleep times. I use your program to fall asleep quickly. When I wake (with my husband often coming to bed , often just an hour or so prior), I use your program for his continued sleep to block my activity sounds. Thank you.

@@purerelaxingvibes So here is the deal with the wireless ear buds. I would love to just have a Bluetooth box in the room to help me sleep ( I have already invested in a sleep noise machine).... HOWEVER did not mention that I sleep w/ a Kodiak hibernating bear... that's right! He snores extremely loud and even makes equally loud noises between snores .... My only options are to move to another planet, or become Kodiak 🐻 friendly. Soooo unless you have any other advice... wireless buds it is! 😅🤣

Every Night without fail I snap awake between 3 and 4am for the last 3 weeks. These Videos with Edy's voice at the start are only thing that get me back to sleep. I find his voice Calming then the rain and the thunder lightly rumbling puts you in a whole another place. The thunder isn't startling and wont wake you from your sleep which is nice too.

I have a lot of health issues and don’t sleep well. I wake every hour or so and the broken sleep kills me. I’m always tired and have no energy. Any real thunderstorms have my anxiety through the roof as I’m terrified of them. I came across your video yesterday and decided to try it. It’s the best nights sleep I’ve had in a couple of years. It was brilliant.

This seriously helps with my sleep problems, I've always had to have noise or someone talking in the background in order to go to sleep, I would just turn on the radio, but the problem is that specific sounds can make me go from sound asleep to wide awake in an instant, radio static, someone screaming about winning the lottery, annoying songs etc etc. Anyways, thank you

It's hard to shut my brain off after a stressful day of calculation in the metal building industry . I am ADHD/ADD and I take two prescription medications, Adderall and Vyvanse both every day . I am always lying in bed with all the numbers running in my head and all the cuts I made that day to make sure it's done flawlessly . This video and others are the only reason I get the sleep I do get . Thanks alot for what you have made for us and not add a bill to our lives to create more unneeded stress.
