If you just dont believe the propaganda regarding martial law and read books on how it impacted the Philippines. Youd know that this isnt true one of the reasons the Philippine passport is so weak because of marcos during this era cancelling relations with other countries. They were (marcoses) killing the Philippines with reckless debt to fund their corruption and infrastructure projects which signaled progress to people like you but dont know the underlying consequences of this.
