    The is actually about the environment/climate change. Mother Earth is going to hell. She's actually a trained dancer and their mother is an actress and acting teacher. The two songs are not related beyond the video and being on the same album. (Entirely recorded in her brother's old bedroom.)
    Other choices are You Should See Me in a Crown (title inspired by the shoe Sherlock) and there are two videos. An insane animated one which used motion capture tech, or a vertical video that is possibly more disturbing, depending on your phobias.
    Everything I Wanted a bonus track added after I bought the damn CD that tells about a dream/nightmare and also the bond with her brother. Directed by her and starring the two of them and her new car.
    No Time To Die (live) The new Bond movie theme. The studio version will get blocked.
    Ocean Eyes. a pure pop sing written by her brother and what put her on the map. Recorded when she was 13 and the video the day after her 14th birthday.
    Not My Responsibility is a short film/spoken word piece over a beat that has a string message. Created for her tour which git canceled after one show due to COVID. She just released it on its own.
    Bad Guy is the big Grammy winning hit It isn't written about herself. Fun video, but not the deepest song.
    I Love You (live). There isn't a music video, but live it almost sounds like the album. A quiet ballad and possibly my favorite on the album. I think there are multiple versions of it live online from different shows. I don't know which is best, probably the one with the most views. It also shows off one of the cooler stage props.
    Bellyache has a colorful fun video that might make you miss that her character is a serial killer.
    She had a lot more music videos, almost all of which are interesting. Some she directed. Those include When the Party's Over, Hostage, Xanny, Lovely (duet with Khalid), Bored, Watch, and idontwanttobeyouanymore (another vertical video). Then there are live acoustic videos and a ton of other stuff. It's a huge rabbit hole for a kid with one EP and one LP., but an interesting one.
    Random trivia: Melissa McCarthy is a huge fan and made a video adding herself to the Bad Guy video. Her improv teacher years ago was Billie's mother. There's a fun clip from Ellen about that.
    If you like her. I recommend Lorde, who is best known for a song called Royals. She was 16 at the time and has a similar musical sound, but different voice and lyrical perspective. She's from New Zealand. Other songs are Ribs, Team, Tennis Court, Green Light, Yellow Flicker Light (from the Hunger Games soundtrack that she put together). She's supposed to finally release a third album soon.

      Wow, John, once again you impress me with your musical knowledge. I need to re-read all of this but this information is going to be extremely helpful. "You Should See Me In A Crown" will most likely be where I head next but that can change depending on my mood hahaha. To me, being unique is what I love about her. Billie Eilish is the opposite of cookie cutter!! Thanks for everything 👊

      @@DannymikReacts Like I said, there is a huge rabbit hole on her which I got sucked into including this cool idea Vanity Fair (I think) had where they did a UA-cam interview of her, then every year on the same day, they redo the same interview with her both reacting to her older interviews and updating the answers. The last version is the third year. In any case, I got suck down that hole and learned a whole lot of random info. LOL

    Did you notice all the silhouettes of the women dancing in the flames at the end? I missed it until someone else pointed it out. This song is actually about climate change.
    She falls to earth as a winged angel into an oil pit, referencing animals that are killed by oil spills. The other telling lyrics:
    “Hills burn in California”
    “When the waters start to rise...”
    She mentions God as a female entity which I took as more of the Mother Nature role.
    “You know I’m not your friend without some greenery”
    Greenery = forests and plants
    Anyway, there’s more, but it stands out once you realize what you’re really listening to. She said the Christian community came at her HARD for this one, when all she wanted to do was write a song about climate change and global warming. She comes up with very creative ways to get her messages across.

    • @DannymikReacts
      @DannymikReacts  4 роки тому +1

      Hello @jphoenixfan! I did not notice the silhouettes. Now that I've watched it a few times and seen an interview with her the whole climate change makes sense. Creativity is what artists need to push and Billie truly does that. I am a gardener when I have the time and respect her view on this. Thank you for the view and GREAT comment 👊✌

      I'm glad that you liked this one... some are not a fan of this song because they think it has a more religious message. Billie Eilish is saying that it centers around climate change... so there's that. As for my editing software, I use Final Cut Pro X and it's a really good program. I switched over to it a year ago... it was the right move!! Thank you for the view and comment 😎✌

    I have a whole new love for Billie Ellish now after hearing more of her songs and listening to her lyrics. Deep and dark as hell. I like that. AND is it odd that i am intriguingly turned on by her voice? I like the all good girls go to hell, even GOD herself! like wow really! crazy words yet something artistic about them. The imagery she used in this video is unique as well, visually appealing in a dark way and again I like it.

      I'm reading through the comments on this one and the video/cong represents climate change and how us humans are ruining the planet. I also like her dark style although I liked Bury A Friend a little more than this one. I have to dig deeper in and grab and do more of her content... way too much talent there to ignore. And yes, lyrically, there's some deep stuff in there. Thanks as always my friend... until the next one ✌👊🤘🔥

      Hello Paul and thank you for the view/comment. When it comes to copyright issues I have to just roll with them. Technically, what I do should qualify for "fair use" but the labels take advantage of what I do and monetize 90% of my videos. I get copyright claims but the "strikes" are the ones that you need to avoid. I do what I do and bite my tongue (just like they want)... it's free advertising for them 😝
