- Hello again! 💛 In this video I take you through my process of illustrating a set of 4 postcards for my shop! 💌 I wanted to do something cute and versatile, since these are the first postcards I ever made. I really hope you like them! I am very excited for them to arrive - I will keep you posted!

Hello! I am new to your channel and I'm really looking for style and art. I'm also going through a period where I'm creatively stuck. Like you said it won't happen if we force it. We have to allow it to happen naturally because that's where the best ideas will show when put down on paper or wherever the art is created. Hi cutie! I am happy you like them! 😍 My style came when I stopped thinking about it and it kind of developed on its own - When you keep drawing the way you love it you start to feel more confident in your art and start pushing the style more. I think I should make a video about it because there is so much to say about it:) 💛

Years ago (in high school) I had to drop out of Art because my bad grades were pulling my GPA down. How do you grade art? I think if you finish the project, but my teacher had favorites. I lived the art studio, supplies, light, etc. A batik I got a D on, I paid alot of money to have professionally framed, non glare glass. Mind you, on a baby sitting budget. 33 years later that piece has had several places of honor in various houses. Just do what you love! Try taking a seasonal theme and running with it if you are stuck for ideas.
Crafty Cape Codder Art teachers can be so cruel and play favoritism, which is so wrong when it comes to art. I had a similar experience to you - I was failing in school and my art teacher was biased against me for some reason, and even though my art was consistent and I was turning in completed pieces, I never passed because she didn’t think my art was following the “rules”. I was so turned off by that, that I quit art all together in a school environment. Once I started putting my art out into the world is when I realized she was full of shit Hahahah point of this story is: don’t let school get you down. Let the world judge your art. 9/10, you’ll be met with love!

Hi:) I use the 6B Pencil and the Narinder Pencil on Procreate :) These are my favourite for sketching and colouring because they look so real and traditional :)

Ich habe schon öfter gehört, dass es sich auf einer matten iPad Folie besser zeichnen lässt. Wie siehst du das? Ich habe auch überlegt, mir eine Matte Folie zuzulegen, bin mir aber noch nicht zu 100% sicher ☺️

What brush do you use for filling in color? Specifically when you filled in the package ❤️❤️
I used the hard airbrush for testing the color and then I used a brush I downloaded on Gumroad called "Dizzy Tara Oval Sketch 2" for colouring it in :)

How do you save your files as postcards to send to print, so that they have a front and a back? Do you save together or send separately? I want to make a postcard with photo on front but have the back as postcard and don’t know how to save them to send to printer

Can you use Procreate on a normal IPad?
yeah :) ich kann mich defintiv nicht zwischen der gießkanne und dem der magic postkarte entscheiden :) die sind beide absolut hübsch :) was mir aufgefallen ist, gibt es procreate auch auf deutsch? weil du die englische version benutzt.. ganz liebe grüße nach berlin, laura :)

New subscriber and I’ve been thinking about buying an ipad for procreate, but as its touch screen, I was wondering does it feel strange not being able to rest your wrist on the screen whilst you’re drawing with the pen? Does it feel like you have less control? Thanks!
You can rest your wrist as the iPads that support Apple Pencil have taken that into account!!
The ipad with apple pencil support palm rejection so you don’t have to worry about resting your wrist on the screen
