If I-76 gets extended to Newark to connect with I-476, the interchange would be like the normal interchange where 1 to east and 1 to west and this needs to get changed ASAP

that's not really an interchange it's like if you put a diamond interchange with unexpected features like the freeway using an off-ramp, BUT with a choice to enter the 80, as well as a freeway end sign 1 mile back. Also, overhead signs and turns are not a concern in details. 180 turns can be anywhere whether it's in the mountains, or in a plain flat area. So yeah, this interchange is pretty wonky but it's okay as long is the appropriate signage is present
