In this video for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, I challenge myself to clear out the entire Yiga clan hideout in one fell swoop, fighting all the Yiga clan members at the same time without making any sneaky kills. These guys will kill you in a single hit if their blades touch you, so this is no easy task. Will we do it? And more importantly, what's with all the bananas?

I accidentally lured the second room of blademasters into the narrow staircase, freaked out, then bombarded them with my lynel bow and bomb arrows till they died. All the bananas ended up cooked. So much for the stealth option
Damn you really had so much bomb arrows early in the game
same, gerudo was my 3rd divine beast and pretty much had a surplus of bomb arrows. blizzard wand + bomb arrows. rip yiga clan
I got past the first room easily, but got spotted in the second room.
I didn't want to die because it'd would be annoying to sneak past the guards again, so I just ran for my life while using the upgraded Remote Bombs(Gerudo was my second divine beast, so I didn't really have that many arrows on hand).

After you beat them and their leader and finish the quest you can go back every blood moon and they're not there but all the bananas and gems on barrels are.

Gustaf Molin Yes It DOES! after you defeat various yigas in Hyrule field, If you go to the same place after a blood moon, they will be there, and yigas thath are disguised as a traveler, respaw too!
JMGO - Yes, out in the fields. But not at the Yiga Clan Hideout. That is what i was talking about. :)

When I fight the Yiga Clan, my tradition is to freeze the Blademasters and electrocute the Footsoldiers. Their photos in my compendium of are them being frozen/electrified.
If you hit a frozen enemy with an electric weapon, it deals 40 more damage to everyone in a certain range. Try it!

It's a shame they have so much power but are fighting for the wrong side. Shame you couldn't pay them to be your mercenaries.

Gladley Gaming they don't actually one-shot, they just have a lot of power. with 24 def, they'll deal about 8 hearts of damage
I believe I went in with more then 8 hearts and decent armor. I think Nintendo hard-coded direct hits to always ohko you. Fairies and Mipha's ability don't work in the hideout either. They don't ohko anymore once you encounter them outside the hideout. They get huge nerf. :P
ApacheThunder maybe that's the case for the hideout then, I never actually got hit in there, but in the outside world they just hurt
Yeah they are only super OP in the hideout. Anywhere else they behave more like standard enemies where you can get decent armor and heart counts and live hits for days. :P
The yiga clan is such a pain in the ass when you encounter them early in the game with weak weapon and armor, but after getting more powerful stuff later they become so easy to defeat like just another bokoblin
Actually they appear whenever im trying to do something important like fighting a guardian stalker...

I did it the first time you enter the area. How? Their duplex bow and a lot of explosive arrows. Let's just say I couldn't see anything over the explosions...
One of the Lynel bows would have been better, they shoot 3 arrows, the Duplex bow shoots 2

Kup Teraz :D Korok leaf is slower and deals less damage than a tree branch.
Another alternative is only using Kilton's hammer (also does one damge, but one handed and no wind blasts), or just Lynel Shield bash them to death.

The sword is called the "Wind Cleaver", it does 40, it is a two handed weapon, and as far as I am aware it's the only sword in the game that shoots protectiles when you swing it. it looks pretty awesome so I put it up for display.

the wind cleavers only do 40 damage and they have low durability so they are not really worth it. im pretty sure all of the yiga clan weapons have low durability.

I can totally see why they like bananas though, bananas are literally slightly radioactive (due to it containing Potassium which decays), which makes all the Yiga Clan mutants or something cos they have so many Banana's nearby, and the Mighty kind sounds like it could have even more potassium in (more radioactive!)

And, very cathartic too...My first attack on Yiga Hideout I breezed through the first room with a great frostblade, but the 2nd room and subsequent attempts found my attempts at a frontal assault strategy unwise. Seeing your use of the blizzard rod successfully and get back at those Yiga ambushers is joyous fun. And your graceful losses and banana collection music have brought a smile to my face and made my day better. Thank you!

Fr. At this point I can't trust a traveling npc unless it's on a horse or has a donkey with it
Smols but they are pretty easy to kill now if they are archers they have 64 healths and people with like the death carver or simeth no have 144 health
@@Stryker-wj4lo It's still pretty annoying. Especially when I'm in a situation where I'm already fighting like a guardian, then some stalkoblins show up, then a yiga clan member shows up to the party as well. Not a fun place to be.

My first time through the Yiga Clan Hideout was for my fourth Divine Beast, so I was fairly well equipped. A five spread Savage Lynel Bow with Bomb Arrows did the trick quite nicely.

They actually drop their swords but it despawns really quick so you have to get it really fast to get their sword

The main reason these guys are so difficult is because the blademasters actually have a OHKO attack that instantly kills you no matter how much health or defence you have
no, they just deal tons of damage no matter what, weak armor decreases the amount of damage fairly weak but strong like this guy has can PROTECT you from their powerful attacks

Came here quite early on. didn't have stealth armor and didn't realise how to throw bananas further away from yourself or that stasis works on enemies, so I bomb arrowed them all into oblivion after 2 failed attempts of sneaking past them.

Trainer Sean honestly, that's what I do. When I shoot them with an ancient arrow it makes me feel like I'm actually killing these annoying fuckers, rather than letting them retreat.
