Nah not everything is opposite. I think chuuyas the only steady one in the beast au who's fate didn't change. Just like in the last video, dazai wondered if they stayed close if he didn't left. well in the beast? i guess its sort of. Dazai in beast double chuuyas responsibility. As a right hand man, thats his boss and previous partner. Being the right hand man means dazai trust chuuya to keep him safe, when dazai died i guess chuuya saw that as failing his role as both the right hand man and partner. Because he couldnt protect dazai, even from himself. I dont see any change much from og chuuya and beast except hes more protective because dazai stayed. But i do think chuuya will care if og dazai dies as well, maybe not go crazy since hes more stable and learned to live without dazai. Edit: actually.. thinking about it if dazai didnt left chuuya would probably be like beast chuuya. Looks like after losing so many people hes grown obsessively attached to those who stayed (beast dazai) so thats probably why beast chuuya went insane as well.
