- As we all grew up with this game and enjoyed it very much, it is important that we work together to try to revert these new update changes that has caused the game to become much more expensive. The new Fast Lane Update has proven to ruin the game of Asphalt 8 even further, with extreme rank changes, a removal of free upgrades in mastery, an end to farming credits in mastery (all mastery races at challenge 15 give you almost no credits now), and exponentially expensive pro kit upgrades. This needs change! Sign these petitions, and together we can stop Gameloft. You may have doubts that petitions can change results in this game, but if you look back in 2017 where token upgrades were added for many cars, a petition took most of them away. Don't give up hope quite yet!

I don’t think anything can be done. Much like EA the only way to change them is to impact their profits because at the end of the day money is the only thing they’ll listen to 😩😞 This game is dead

I think GL is doing that purposely they are overpromoting it. If you think about it, GL is trashing A8 by making these horrible changes, while GL is making it easy to get overpowered cars like the Chiron

I’m a free2play in A9 and I have 40 cars that’s most in the game A8 just a handful of 26 cars and that’s trash in a game with 200 cars

The whole reason why they're making it 5x more pay 2 win is probably because they want to milk the last bit of money before Asphalt 8 will die. They want people to buy tokens (whoever is dumb enough) to pay for these incredibly expensive token upgrades which if you think about it, IT'S A SINGLE FREAKING UPGRADE! YOU CAN GET MULTIPLE TOKEN CARS FOR THE MOST EXPENSIVE "UPGRADE" EVER! That's insane! And like you said, Asphalt 9 doesn't run on all devices due to demanding assets and resources. So whoever's making the decisions back at GL is an absolute dumbass for trying to kill a game that's more accessible to people.
Asphalt 8 is the only alternative to people who can't get Asphalt 9 (Asphalt nitro is $#!T) and if they'll kill that, they'll just lose a lot of their fans overall. It's stupid how greedy companies are getting. Why can't they just think like "We can make more money if we run two games at the same time". Salaries and updates shouldn't be of their concern. If a game is more free 2 play, people will most likely stay and play more. Some even (including me) would like to spend money on games that are free 2 play friendly.
Asphalt 8 isn't dying, it was just killed by it's very creator. Asphalt 8 didn't die a slow death, it was killed instantly by the ones who helped it become what it is today. And I hate it.

@@lilchad-ig1oj you saw the Regera event. Without Acura, Vencer, Alfieri and some other cars that you won't get, you never earn more than 15-20 blueprints. And that's not all, you need to max out those cars. And imagine the frustration when you start receiving blueprints that are traded for those tradecoins....1 BT =10/20/40 tradecoins. And a single BT costs from 1200 to 10000 tradecoins. Ripoff...

@@cristhopherobando5323 well, not many got them for free.when it was the Chiron challenge, i managed to get 30 blueprints, and i was playing the game for only 1 month. Now, i was able to get only 15! Those assholes thirst for money is obvious.

I'm a hardcore fan player of asphalt8, it's really sad to see the condition of this legend right now.
Now: Changed UI, Old Kings Nerfed, Tokens are P2W, Mastery, Collections, Tag Racing Removed, Multiplayer Changed, Gauntlet Being Unfair, No More R&D, EDD and Championships, P2W Festivals and Hackers.
It's been 2 years. GL hasn't done jack shqwat about it. They added fusion coins and made the game more expensive. Go figure...

They only like #6 top grossing games but greed bit them in the balls and they gone completly kyky. They want each player to buy at least 20 boxes at 200 tokens a piece to collect enuf engines to pass the r&d..that equals alot of money ..but much more haters.. honestly they just beyond detached and rolling around in dough, gameloft uses 100dollar bills to wipe ass. They make so much money but cant afford giving any free class upgrade.. normal ppl will never understand the rich snob mentality

I am playing this game on my android device. Now I can't even launch this game. It never happened to me before. I guess someone hacked to this game because that peron hates this stupid horrible update. Also I am afraid of upgrading a car to pro because i haven't pro on any of my car yet and I only have almost 70 car in my garage not even a half of a car in this game. This is three times harder than before. You may know that upgrading a car to pro is one of the worst thing of the game.

Nevada
Tokio
Iceland
Reverse Versions of them.
And in Career mode i can only race in first races of Season 1 and 2.

There is one good thing I noticed about this update: The CSL Hommage gets a better multiplayer spot so I guess that’s good
Looks like it was a good move from me to stop playing A8, after i beat the only R&D ever which was the Hyundai i30 N and played with it some time. Really sad to see this game getting killed more and more (Damn Special Edition cars finally got nerfed hahahaha)
BTW I'm playing a8 on android and now I can't farm credits in mastery they will say completed and h can't play it anymore and they give out so less credits in mastery

I'm just farming all boxes and licenses I can now and *other rewards I'm not taking because we can win Gameloft and get our mastery back *, and I'm happy with boxes. Lesson: *Farm boxes and licenses* and yes my, SLK SE is still king and meets 1600 ranks of cars and being in 1870 rank. And yes, I can't replay mastery anymore, at least can farm on Season 9. Aris, farm boxes pls (champion/tech or whatever box and engine boxes), because after petition you'll get a lot of needed parts.

remember when asphalt extreme and street storm were a thing? what ever happened to those games. when they came out i was quite happy with the ideas they had for them but now i do not see much if any content on theses games anymore.

Which is odd, considering that with all the money they’re squeezing out of their player base, they can’t seem to find a marketing team or a PR team worth half a goddamn penny. To add to the video, TLE's are also worse now. Heats and Apex Wednesday are removed, along with the rewards that we like, just like they did with Car Assembly Cups.

I stopped playing after they nerfed my favorite C-Class Car (that Mercedes Benz CLA AMG thingy.). At the time, I just didn’t have enough time to play as much as I used to, but then, after watching all of these up to this point, I came further and further towards not downloading or updating it again. Let me tell you, my favorite easy race to grind was Race 15 with the M-B Silver Lightning (do correct me if I get any of these names wrong). I do miss the old days. I hope a change for the better comes for this game.

People sacrificed their fine MP Lykan Hypersport for mastery farming. Now we can't farm anymore, and the Lykan is no good for MP tuned this way. God damn it!
They should allow us to downgrade the cara to MP tunings then.

I can't play Asphalt 9 because I have a hybrid laptop that runs Windows 8.1 and my RAM, processor, storage is not compatible for Asphalt 9. What is Gameloft thinking? Everything now is more expensive. Asphalt 8 economy crashing.

Nobody knows how bad it will be, but let's hope that Asphalt 8 isn't dead for real. Otherwise, we still have other games like Asphalt 9 for example, or perhaps Minecraft (Minecraft is developed by Mojang, not Gameloft).

Ladies, and Gentlemen Gameloft Has Died They are slowly drifting away into EA's footsteps what now asphalt 10 where it was made by gameloft and EA to enter please pay 99 cents and to get a d class car please complete 10 races or give us your credit card
The next time i logged on to A8 5-6 months later, every single low-end D-class car has had their ranks bumped up to the 900-1000 range. This is a HUGE problem as most beginner drivers find themselves one-upped by Multiplayer-built cars (cough cough Range Rover cough cough Donkervoort cough cough). I guess this is why so many A8 people complain of poor matchmaking - A8 should either restore most cars to the range of their previous starting ranks (e.g. DD GT back to 515, e-tron back to 530-ish, etc.) *or* adjust matchmaking so that cars are grouped based on their overall stats, not ranks. Simply put, Gameloft has made the rank-based system much worse than before. *Sidenote*: it has also become even harder to advance from each Multiplayer tier because of the rank changes.
And now there is the other update. The update as of December 20th 2019 has to be the worst update ever. I spent all the V8 engines i had on the Konigsegg agora and now they added a stupid thing called ULTIMATE where you don’t need any upgrades to make it better. But so far all they have shown is nerfed nitro, decreased top speed, and even harder and worse events. I got the SSC Tuatara which has near 1MIL credits to max out. NOW ITS AN ULTIMATE!!!! This is the worst asphalt 8 update EVER. We need a refund. Please if you can make i video on this.

I quit asphalt 8 early january because it had taken over my life. i am now living a VERY PROSPEROUS LIFE (6:00). quite frankly i see no point in trying to make petitions to change the game when it is in the FAST LANE down the tubes.

This update make the players cannot play Mastery again after it is competed that challenge, this will make the special event cannot competed all quiz.
Now what? Gameloft will ruin this game so much that it will be worse than the youtube rewind 2018. No one knows what will happend in the next update. I will never play asphalt 9, NEVER! Just quit and play a real racing game. Gran Turismo Sport, Asetto Corsa, Forza Motorsport, etc. I started playing GT sport a few months ago and I'm never coming back to this garbage.

My favorite car will always was that Corvette Z06 i think it was. I Quit asphalt when everybody started using that damn mercedes biome and mercedes silver lighting.
