Lumos is not what gets you behind the wall in Henrietta's Hideaway. You just had to closely walk up to the wall. I know. It's frustrating. But after finding several walls like that in several places, I eventually learned that if the wall looks different and little odd and funny from the other walls, then it might be a hidden entrance. But I do feel for you. It's not too obvious. It's kind of subtle. But I do think Lumos is good to use either way when it comes to finding the difference. Those corners can be pretty dark and hard to see.
I imagine knowing how to read music would help with the bells puzzle, but the map has a key to show which bells are which notes; the framework holding the bells even forms the lines and spaces with the bells themselves. 1:40 The fire and ice blocks were to open the doors that are already sitting there open because you did that the first time you went through the dungeon. The far door was to where the golden snidgets were and is only available when you're doing that quest; it opened after you fought of a poacher ambush with the centaurs. Black flags on the map mean there's quests available there, in Hogwarts you can click on the flags to see each section and the quests will be shown when you're looking at the right section. They do not show when looking at Hogwarts as a whole.
There is no need to do the cube puzzles if you have already done them in the past. Once you have opened a door with them, the doors stay open. You keep trying to solve puzzles you have already solved in the past. No need. You're good. 👍❣️ I mentioned this in your last video, but the door with the moon images on it that won't open in the Snidgets location stays closed permanently forever once you have finished that quest with Poppy. The Snidgets are now locked behind that door, and the only people with access are the centaurs. The Snidgets are under their protection. There is no need for you to return to the Snidgets because you and Poppy already saved them. 🐣🔒❣️ The cubes that you were trying to use to open doors already opened the doors that belonged to the room before the Snidget locked room.
The Bells was very difficult at first for me even though I used to be in a chorus in high school back in the 1980s. I never learned fully how to read music, but I do understand full notes, half notes, and quarter notes. It's like doing math. I just still don't know how to find what key a song is in. Fortunately, you don't have to figure out whether the music is in the key of B or C for this Hogwarts Legacy quest. LOL! 🎼🎶🎵🤔 But I did realized while doing the Bells quests that the answer is on the map itself in the music. The notes on the side tell you where the half notes are lined up and where the whole notes are in line. The bottom music bar tell you what half note and what whole note to hit. It's more math than anything. You have to count the lines that the notes are on. It's very, very, very much a trial and error task. And it's very much a puzzle. 🪄🎼🎶🎵🎶🔔⁉️ Oh yeah, plus you have to have very good aim. THAT was my biggest issue. I knew what I had to hit after I figured it out but I kept missing. LOL! 🤦♀️😆
Hi Oak, a couple things. Like someone else mentioned, it’s often completing a main quest that unlocks additional side quests. And there might also be some in the castle or in Hogsmeade, so check those maps in addition to the highland map. Side quests also show up when your character goes near them. So if there are any areas you haven’t yet explored, maybe head there. Also, fill up your ancient magic meter. You’re going to need it.
Warner Bros recently confirmed a sequel is in the works. Glad to see another HL playthrough upload. Almost done and can't wait for you to see the thrilling end to this amazing story.
The first time I did the bells quest, I ended up looking it up online. The next time, I realised how easy it was, as long as I had a photo of the map up on my phone. The picture on the right of the map shows you the 5 bells on the left and the 4 bells on the right. It then shows you a music bar made up of 5 lines and 4 'spaces'. These correlate to the bells. So if a note is shown on the 3rd line down, it's the 3rd bell down on the left. If the note is the 2nd 'space' down, it's the 2nd bell down on the right. Also, if the red bars at the top of the map page for the Hogwarts, Hogsmeade and World maps have a black flag symbol on them, it means that there is a quest in that area. You have black flags over Hogwarts and Hogsmeade, meaning there are quests there. They won't pop up in your quests, you have to find them. You don't need to do the Daedalian Keys quest for them to pop up. The collection chest in that area where you found the snidgets - the box is in the first room, up above you. Accio it down and then levioso it to climb up and get the chest. Please do a live stream so we can help you! The Herodiana quest and the 2 Depulso rooms that pop up after are very tricky so you might want to do those off-line with a UA-cam video to help you.
I don't read music either, but the bells puzzle wasn't that difficult. Although the white notes may be confusing you only need to focus on the position of the notes. On the bottom it shows you the order in wich you need to ring the bells and on the side it shows you that the 2 columns of bells corresponds to the 2 columns of notes (and one can see that the iron bars represent the lines). Then the first note in the order is in between the bottom lines so you need to ring the bell in between the 2 bottom "lines", then the 2nd one is right on the 3rd line so it's the 5th bell and so on.
You can find more side quests in Hogwarts and hogsmeade by finding the little flags on the map and then the shield showing the location :) you have to “start” them for it to show up as an option to finish it
When you use accio on a chest to climb on something, use levioso after to get it higher so you can climb on it, you could not open the door cause it was already open, the other door was closed cuz you had already done that quest to get the snitgets. hints: go to the Library, the greenhouse, and flying lawn for summoners court, you still must do 4 rounds or so, just roam around the castle and hogsmead, the 3 broomsticks , i think you missed one there too
I’ve played through this game MANY times (over 20 now), and have never done the musical bell quest without help. Don’t feel bad about that one. As for the ‘lumos’ wall in Henrietta’s Hideaway, you don’t need lumos to access it; just approach the wall, and it will open. There are several treasure vaults with similar walls spread around the map. I know you were frustrated several times with this play through, but we’re all rooting for you! I still enjoyed watching you experience the Wizarding world. ❤️❤️
As for the troll...I think you have gotten so strong, it wasn't a problem. As for the musical notes...if you looked under the bells, there were the light up notes. As you played a bell, the lights would let you know which musical note had been played. If you would have taken a picture of the letter, with your phone, you could have matched the light up notes with the picture of the musical score on the letter. And figured it out that way. At least that's how others got it. And, there should be more side quests at Hogwartz. I am actually glad you have taken so long to play this game. I will be sad when it is over!
Henrietta'a Hideaway has 3 different quests attached to it. You have been there before. I don't recall if this is your second or third quest that you have done for this location. If it is your second then you have one more quest to do in Henrietta's Hideaway. As for the cave located behind the waterfall that you went to, you have been there before. That is why all the doors were open. But you wouldn't have been able to find the tressure without the map. The map activates the quest. 🗺😊👍
I'm now on my 3rd playthrough... I have 1 more to go ... been doing one of each of the houses... I started with Ravenclaw... then I went to Hufflepuff, now I'm on Griffindoor... saving Slitherin for last... and plan to play it being totally evil... but we'll see how I do. Think you get tired of doing the Merlin trials... I have completed every spot on the maps that I can. It's been a royal pain. Anyway it's fun to watch you try these. I think you are doing pretty well.
I did solve the music puzzle without help. It gives you the musical staff right underneath the bells. I rang the different bells and saw where they glowed in the staff, took notes on which were which, got the answer and rang them in order.
Nearly there Oak! What a journey haha it's really been over a year. Would one be too bold to assume you'd do an Arkham Batman Trilogy Playthrough next?
The incendio and glacius door that didn't open is where you released the snidgets so maybe it only opens during the quest (don't know for sure because i didn't need to come back to that location). There was nothing important there anyway, the missing chest was the levioso one.
Sometimes you have to do more main quests before it gives you more side quests. I do understand sometimes I've had to go back to things. Also you can move those boxes that you can stand on... and then use Leviosa on them... and then they are higher. Set it down in front of where you want to be and then cast the plain leviosa spell on them. FYI. You don't stand it on it's end. If that makes any sense to you?
I've 100% my share of games and Hogwarts Legacy was surprisingly frustrating by the end. Luckily it was a bit forgiving, technically I wasn't 100% in a number of ways but it still counted as 100%. If I knew what I do now I probably wouldn't have done the 100% run
Did I miss the part where he said why he can’t do this one live? I’m sure there’s somebody out there who would want to help out with equipment or IT… my nerd heart just breaks when oak ends up disliking a part of the game that we all could easily help with!!😭
Oak, I cannot stress enough how much doing a live while playing this would help you soooo much because people would be able to help you in the live comments. You can always upload the live after as well for those who can’t view the live during the time you actually do it. Just something to think about! 💙
Haven’t finished watching this yet but wondering when you’ll come across a depulso puzzle, or if you did those offline already. I had one I HATED because it glitched and was actually impossible unless I reloaded the game, so hope this doesn’t happen to you!
❓❓❓Oak, have you developed a plan for how and when you are going to introduce your son to Harry Potter?? What age would you prefer he be before you start?? Read a book then watch the movie movie or do all the books, then movies ? Just wondering….
Do a Live one so we can help you the last oneee!! ❤❤❤❤ Great playthrough as always ♡♡ dont get disappintent, we all struggled at some pint. Thats whats happens with a first playthrough❤ Hugs from Spain ♡♡♡♡

You ignored the bottom image entirely and only focused on the side image and just hit the bells in a descending order. Let's Goo Oak!! I can't believe it's part 25! Great game Oak
Dont worry Oak! I couldnt for the life of me figure out the bells puzzle with the musical notes either. I was scratching my head sooo bad 😂
I do remember the Oak before watching harry potter....look at him now.... best character growth on the internet. Wr love you bro ❤❤
You said it best with "It's more Potter content" Could not agree more Big Oak!

Oak's expression on the thumbnail tells me this is going to be a fun time 😂
As a 40 year old man lot me say i was very happy to see this on my front page today.

➡️ Important! All black flags in the map of Hogwarts are side quests. You access those side quests by CLICKING on the Black Flags.
🏴🏰😊👍
Don't worry Oak, we've all been there on our first play throughs. This game really does like to push you to your puzzle-solving limits sometimes.

Sorry to hear you had an unsatisfactory experience with this playthrough. Keep at it!!
2:02:31 that’s the stuff so many of us love playing along with tho 😭
Hallo oak is Back but where IS His
scarf today ?
I think we need to send him a remember all .😆
Don't worry oak, there were a few puzzles I had to get help with, including the musical bells!
😂😂😂 the face is crazy

Im sad oak isn’t having quite the fun he started the journey with anymore 😭
Available quests in Hogwarts are marked with the black flag on the main Hogwarts menu if you click on the black flag it will bring them up .
Sometimes you have to do more main quests before it gives you more side quests.
I do understand sometimes I've had to go back to things.

The clue in that last map was the windmill in the background. Not that it really matters.
You are looking for quests in the wrong map, remember to look for them in the hogwarts and hogsmade maps
Came here to say that! Lol
Did I miss the part where he said why he can’t do this one live? I’m sure there’s somebody out there who would want to help out with equipment or IT… my nerd heart just breaks when oak ends up disliking a part of the game that we all could easily help with!!😭

For what it’s worth Oak, most people I know aren’t fans of these map quests either. I think most people can agree they’re a low point in this game.
Haven’t finished watching this yet but wondering when you’ll come across a depulso puzzle, or if you did those offline already.
I had one I HATED because it glitched and was actually impossible unless I reloaded the game, so hope this doesn’t happen to you!

Great playthrough as always ♡♡ dont get disappintent, we all struggled at some pint. Thats whats happens with a first playthrough❤
Hugs from Spain ♡♡♡♡
The very last one will be a live 🤘
@BaddMedicineArcade ouuuuu yeahhhh!! Nice ♡♡♡♡
Loats of love fir the 4 if you from Spain!!
Very SAD if you do the Daedalian Keys quest offline, as the quest reward is one of the coolest gear items in game. Please don't take that reaction away from us.
Lumos isn't needed to get behind the wall all you do is walk up to the wall and it opens. I never used any spell (let alone Lumos) to open the wall. I just ran this exact dungeon yesterday in fact on my Ravenclaw alt. As far as what I consider 100% completion, all in game % and the platform specific achievements (45 of them on steam, I imagine it's the same on PS and Xbox).
How to solve the bell puzzle. The bottom image is the song itself, the side is the note that corresponds to each bell. The side has 5 lines with a note on each line and a note in between each line. So match those notes with the corresponding bells from the side image. If you don't realize that the side image is the guide key to the song at the bottom yes I can see how it might be confusing. However, the game wants you to think critically, to notice the correlation between the two images. You ignored the bottom image entirely and only focused on the side image and just hit the bells in a descending order. The fact that you were just going straight down the bells and being told by your character that you need to check for clues in the image means you needed to not focus solely on the side image and see what else was depicted.
That has been your downfall with most of these puzzles throughout your gameplay. You tend to get tunnel vision on one element of the puzzle and just repeatedly try to smash your way through the puzzles. The puzzles you do solve on your own, most of the time, end up being luck mixed with trial and error without actually solving the puzzle mentally or understanding the components or clues. I think that is what makes this game less fun for you. If you could look at the puzzles and solve them with that "Ah-ha I see what I'm supposed to be doing here" and then actually do it and it works then the game would seem much more rewarding intellectually.
I had my fair share of what am I missing here moments, too. When I looked up guides, I much preferred the ones that helped me understand what the clue was that I missed rather than just handing me the solution. That way I understood the puzzle and was better able to recognize it or something similar to it in future puzzles.
I hope you go back and replay this game from a new character and try to redo the puzzles again and see if you can solve them on your own the next play through. You might find the game more rewarding when you don't feel so stressed and confused every other quest.
People have been telling you to Levioso boxes in several past play throughs, you just ignored those comments or forgot you read them and thus forgot their tips. Which is equally frustrating for us as it is for you. The reason the door isn't opening is because you already completed that quest and rescued the baby Snidget birds eggs.
I noticed that the more Merlin Trials and Treasure Vaults I completed (the icons for them disappeared off the map and allowed for other icons to appear for side quests or ancient magic locations)
The "Well Well Well" quest was the one I was most frustrated with and had to look up a guide for. The map for that was horrid.
Sorry Oak but the note positions were right beside the bells on the right.
Unfortunately there have been many cases where you’ve missed instructions on how to do things and then gotten frustrated with game when needing to do that exact thing. Not easy with a camera for sure but I think that’s where a lot of your frustrations have come from.
