You talking about his career? That's about the only thing he killed without 50. It's sad too because I truly thought he was going to become bigger than 50 after hearing some of his early mixtapes, Beg For Mercy and Hunger For More. 50 wasn't able to focus strictly on his music and it showed in several ways. It showed in his music after a few years of being the boss of these guys, it showed in all the moves and money that he was starting to make outside of music but I really thought ok Banks is almost on par with 50 when it comes to lyrics (even thought he was a tiny bit better after he did Hunger and for some reason 50 released Massacre) but I thought you know what none of that really matters as 50 is investing maybe half his time to music while Lloyd could go 110%. IMO Power of the Dollar and Get Rich are legitimate masterpieces. I really thought Banks would easily have more than two 10/10 Albums. After all that time he had ZERO. He didn't just let 50 down, he let every single one of his real legit fans down, the fans who really thought he'd go hard at it and end his career with a legitimate argument of being one of the greatest of all times. WOMP WOMP!!!! Let down. Then as an extra big f*ck you to everyone who believed in him, years and years after Hunger, dude decided he'd be Raps Bob Dylan, no not as in icon, one of a kind star, no I'm talking as in "wait who the f*ck is rapping and more importantly WTF is he even saying? Banks legit went that Dylan or Tom Petty route where his voice was so fucked you couldn't even understand him. Anyway keep telling yourself Banks accomplished anything except for having such a good start that he was able to accomplish one of the greatest let downs in the ENTIRE MUSIC industry regardless of genre.
@@charlies2641not everybody wants to be #1 superstar in the world, not everybody wants to follow trends not everybody wans to fully indulge in the industry, if u actually listened to his music you would fully understand why he took a step back but still put out classic mixtapes put out 3 albums in 3 yrs, and lyrically the 10 most popular artist can't rap a better 16 than him period, get the wax out ya ears
I'm giving up and I don't know what to do.... I'm going to hell anyway, apparently, because I hate God....blasphemy is unforgivable? But murder and other sick $##$@$ is@?
