I've worked in Tech Support for the past 16 years and its become far too much to keep up with ever changing technologies out there. I don't have the strength anymore to continuously keep learning new stuff all the time. Time for a career change.

I feel the same, there's no way I can go from supporting storage to become an expert in cloud, knowing vmware and Linux.
I guess Master One area and go from there, as the jack of all trades keep you a job, but you're the master of nothing so you can never request as high salary.

There's an option B guys. Just don't do Fortune 500s if you go small-med size business you can do everything and get the same pay and less stress. Sure you may be responsible for more than just cloud as many small-med sized business are hybrid so you will have to manage on-prem stuff too.

As someone who loves the job coming from Voice Cloud Architect transitioning to Cloud Architect. Many basic skills carry over. If you learn fast and enjoy learning, you'll never be bored. You get to work with people globally, which is really interesting. That said, it can require odd hours, and those with younger children usually leave. You do need to be able to stow your ego and tolerate a fair amount of stress. Good personality goes a long way. Team work for implementing is critical.

In your "How I Would Learn AWS Cloud FAST (If I Could Start Over)" video, you mentioned your bootcamp is for beginners. What if someone wants Intermediate or Advanced knowledge in cloud? Would this bootcamp not be for that person?

Sir, in your last week's youtube video you told us to learn, build, own There so many skills to learn in the building part of your video So my question is should I learn the whole roadmap of 'learn' part that you gave us and than move forward to 'build' part
Or learn and build skills at the same time cause the learning process seems a longtime process

      Learn, build and own.
Learn something, build with it immediately.
Over time you will create products and own what you do.
      Mastery.
