Upsetting to watch. The buff brick building was the Snowden Building. The building next to it, was the Odd Fellows. I was in the Odd Fellows building about 10 years ago. It was dated, but structurally sound at that time. The Snowden Building's interior was really bad, since the roof had not been maintained. Appears nothing was saved from any of the facades. Sadly, many buildings in Connellsville have met the same fate. These buildings and there history are irreplaceable.
Sad. I read or heard that there was a second old hospital abandoned in the area, does anyone know of this and it's possible location? Not the one next to the old nurse's home but a second one. Thanks in advance if you do.
Years and years of neglect those buildings were really unsafe. It is a shame that the hole town is like that. I missed the first building coming down but saw video of it. They tap it and it all came down at once.
60yrs of neglect. Those buildings were dangerous. Roofs collapsed and all the floors fell in. Bricks started falling off the buildings into the street.
This is so hard to watch. Horrible. That beautiful facade just obliterated.
No. It is time.

The hospital is in really bad shape. I think it’s next to be demolished. I have a video of it.
@@Maddog4x4 Is it a different hospital than the one next to the old nurse's home? If so, do you know it's location? Ty.
Make Brownsville great again
So... they thought "it is better" to have the town´s history destroyed. Good Lord, do not delay your next coming.

The old Brownsville Hospital should be next.
As unsafe as the buildings were, it would cost far more to try to save them, than it would to build all new buildings
@@Maddog4x4 that hospital is gone now
@@bradmagnuson6963 I did a drone video on the hospital as it was getting demolished.
A once proud area gone into the history books. Sad to see this happening all up and down the Mon Valley.
Thanks to Mr Liggett who promised to restore Brownsville! How sad to see history coming down!
He made nothing but empty promises
Thank you for this video!
This is a shame.
Wow. What a waste…. All of that beautiful trim at the top could have been saved.😢
The town is pretty much abandoned and all the buildings are in really bad shape. Those buildings floors were all collapsed into the basement.
No dust control. Hitting wires. Wrong attachment on the long reach excavator must have went to a cheap company.
It was! They didn’t even do a good job of cleaning up
The had 1 hose spraying in the back.. not nearly enough
DUDE WTH ARE THE BUILDING ON THE RIGHTS WINDOWS OMG THAT LOOKS SO UGLY
There in a abandoned town. 90% of that town buildings are abandoned.
They are all built on stilts? What will happen after ??
No stilts. Turn into grass until someone decides to buy the land
A huge part of past ..........Gone !
Wow
They took a lot down. The old hospital is gone now.
@@Maddog4x4 We went down there yesterday and I will be putting a video out today
@@cpexplores5483 can’t wait to see it!
