Hi Gary, I'm a former farmer, remember? Sold my last pickup about five years ago as I really have little need for one anymore. My renter is good enough to lend me one of his on the few occasions I need one. Take care and farm safely.
Hi Ed, I wish you luck with your electric car, one perk will surely be not having to gas up! I messaged you on Facebook, I am trying to get into contact with you about the Fordson Mounted Gleaner Combine. I am working on one. Thank you, Chris
Hi Chris, Wish you luck with your Fordson/Gleaner project. The one I featured on my website belonged to my brother-in-law. He succumbed to cancer a few years ago but before he passed, he donated the machine to the Daniels County Museum. I do not know the status of their project. Sorry I can't be of more help.
@@mtdirtfarmer Don't sell your gas vehicle. It will come in handy during outages or when electricity is more expensive, when car batteries are too expensive, or when you get tired of paying "fees" for use of the highway.
Good morning, The day when even 50% of cars no longer need to visit gas pumps is a fair ways off and no one has a crystal ball that looks that far into the future. For right now, if I don't visit gas pumps, my lack of consumption means less demand for gas and if you subscribe to free market beliefs, that should make your trips less expensive. As more drivers do the same, the effect will multiply. Less drivers visiting gas pumps will mean shorter lines for those visiting the pumps. Long term, the effects will be much like lack of demand for crews hauling water for steam locomotives or lessened demand for oats to feed the horses and mules that were used for transport previously. Different and better ways of doing old things is called progress. Don't be Baldwin 2.0
Always enjoy your wisdom on Ag talk as a fellow farmer. Is a Ford Lightning in the works ? Safe travels.

@@mtdirtfarmer Thank you for the information, I am sorry to hear about your brother. Take Care
Nice video quality, what were you recording with? I've had it with my gopro and video quality.
DJI Osmo Action Camera. Looks like they have Osmo Action 3 out now. I got really tired of how flaky the GoPros were. This one has been rock solid.
So why is it your last gas up? Surely you will continue driving.
I'll just quit driving vehicles that need to visit gas pumps.

What's the end game if you will quit driving vehicles that need to visit gas pumps?
