I feel like a lot of U2's work does an absolutely spectacular job of bringing Irish folk flavor to chart topping, cutting edge, contemporary pop-rock. People thought "Ireland? Leprechauns and four leaf clovers? Lucky charms, 'clean as a whistle' and wearing green on St. Pati's day? /eyeroll" Then Boom! U2, The Cranberries, Sinead O'Conner...
