I get excited over their performance video, I can´t imagine what will it feel like to be there with the lights, the sound, their voices, and the crow going wild!! I hope I get to see them one day.
They took a rock classic that had become almost a cliche and breathed new life into it. They charged the arrangement, the timing, the chord structure added harmony and new, melodic elements . Huge risk. Massive rewards. Somehow, they made a more haunting, intense, harder version that takes you on a dark journey where you exit light and enter night ending in that familiar riff that seems to hit harder than the original. It’s a masterpiece. If you ever hear the original again you can’t help but think of The Warning version. It’s their song now.
The Guitar that Dany is Using on this song is a Gibson Explorer that Lzzy Hale of Halestorm gifted Dany last Year when the The Warning were Touring with Halestorm, in Irving Texas The Warning were on Stage playing and After a song Dany Took off her Guitar and her Guitar Tech would come on stage take the Guitar and Hand Dany another Guitar and the show would go on, but in Irving Dany's Guitar Tech took her guitar but didn't give her another one so Dany is standing there on Stage getting Angry then Lzzy Hale comes from Back Stage gets down on one knee and Hands Dany this Brand New Gibson Explorer.
The cover from when they were kids is a more direct cover (as close as possible for a 3 piece to attempt anyways). It's great, but one of those "this is impressive considering their age" songs. This re-arrangement that they're playing in this video is what they got to do for the Metallica Blacklist Album with Alessia Cara (the poppy vocal track you could hear in the background in a few places in this performance). Metallica was inviting lots of artists to make covers, so to keep them all from sounding the same, they told the bands to make the covers their own, which is what The Warning did in particular. It's just great. No caveat of 'for their age' needed on this one, it's just really well done regardless of how old they are.
ENTER SANDMAN: Un cover original de The Warning ,el mejor tema del black list ,un tema que puede ser incluso mejor que el original, excelente interpretacion ,buenos coros, TW son maestras de la composicion
Their are all most three covers. The 2014 director cover, the 2021 video cover, and the live concert version without Alessia (on the backing track. And a few vocal changes. This was done with Alessia Cara (Canadian POP and R&B artist) For the Metalica's 30th Aniversary Black List Album. They never met. Sent remixed song in 7 days.
). tenga su like buen hombre !!.
CDMX is an acronym meaning: Ciudad De México (México City). Teatro metropolitan (metropolitan theater) is the biggest theater for plays in Mexico, an arena size venue. With beautiful at deco architecture
Nice Reaction! For the 30th Anniversary of Metallica's Black Album (2021), Metallica put together an album of different artists doing covers of songs from that album and it was called The Blacklist Album. The Warning was chosen as one of the bands to do a cover and I am just guessing here, but I guess The Warning didn't want to do the song just like Metallica did it, so they put their own spin on it. They did this song in conjunction with a female singer from Canada called Alessia Cara. They did a video of the song if you want to go watch it.
Yep, been there, done that back in 2014. Metallica also asked people to get creative with it. None of the other artists who chose Enter Sandman did; at best, they were minor stylistic variations or alternate intros that quickly segued into the original. And I rather suspect The Warning are among very few who perform their version live.
I have to admit, I am not a Metallica fan, and I was sick of this song, until this version came along. A lullaby where Alessia Cara very sweetly puts you to bed, then Dany rouses the troups, shares a little prayer, and the angel chorus comes to sing you to sleep, then Boom, the hammer drops. I think of this very much as the female version of the tale. So good. Delicate, powerful, soothing, strong, gentle, fierce-all at the same time.
@@oldmanyeni1663 Where did you get that idea? LOL It's not used in the Teatro Metropolitan performance. Anyway, AC's voice is very different and much softer than Dany's and I've listened to her sing ES literally dozens of times in various concerts, and aside from one or two instances where AC showed up at a concert and joined the band on stage live, it's always Dany singing the lead. I'm sure other fans who've seen many concerts online and live will agree.
@@thsc9119 AC's voice is not the lead at the beginning when live for sure. That is Dany. AC voice is used in the Hush little baby chorus part for sure. Perhaps we are not agreeing on my use of "this version". I mean that to be the entire re-working of this song (both recorded and live), not just the Teatro performance.
@@reaper_fbb7052 Can you make that more like actual information rather than a mere guess? I think they'd be more likely to have recorded any track like that themselves.
⚡✌️🤟⚠️⚡Now you get a two for one as if you rewatch with your daughter, everyone here will be so curious if she will actually like it, as it is different than Metallica.?! An easy extra for ya! Either way, Peace and Health to All, Rock On TW Army!⚡✌️🤟⚠️⚡
As you are now part of the TWA, not showing this to your daughter could be a punishable offense. You may be downgraded to simple private unless you rectify !!! You have been Warned !!! 😅😅😅
It's inevitably a matter of taste, but I just plain think this is better than the original, as Jimi Hendrix did with All Along The Watchtower and Disturbed did with Sound of Silence. The original is to my mind rather boring and all drive, with melody, harmony, and structure taking a back seat. With Dany's vocal range and coloring, the 3-voice attack, and their buildups and pullbacks, they've come up with something a lot more interesting
Long live TW 🤘🤘❤❤
Breathing new life into old classics.
chills... nothing but *CHILLS* running up and down my entire body... i mean... WHOA!!! E.V.E.R.Y. S.I.N.G.L.E. T.I.M.E. 🤘😼🤘

oh she woulda loved this one
Yeah, she might regret missing that one.
Dany plays Lizzy Hale's guitar. She got it as a gift from her. She's a huge fan of the warning.
It's not as if she took over Lzzy's old guitar. She had this custom-built for Dany by Gibson.
This whole song took one week to be rearanged, recorded and delivered in completion for addition to the Metalica Blacklist Album. ❤✌🤘 U.K.
Great! Thank you! More The Warning

That was so awesome to see (wish I could have been there in person) - and hearing the history of how the same thing happened to Lzzy

Good video! 👌🏼🇲🇽
The Warning made excellent covers of existing songs... when they were children. Now they Warned them.

excelente reacción a tremenda banda de ROCK como lo son las hermanas VILLARREAL!!! ⚡⚡🤘🤘
Great cover

The instructions from Metallica were to make the song your own for submission on The Blacklist tribute album. Mission Accomplished!

Well, 3000 is not arena-size. The Pepsi Center, where they will play in October, is what, 7000 or so?

Only this is The Warning's version, not the one with Alessia Cara shoehorned in.

This song now belongs to three chicas from down Mexico way, and I'm sure Metallica knows it.
Now, we would like to see what your wife thinks about this version of ES. You might not know her as well as you think you do!!

Thats not your fathers Enter Sandman : )
