You have NO idea how long have I been looking for this song. It was all the way back when YT was in its first years, and someone decided to upload an MK3 Sega Genesis glitch video with this song in it... then it was deleted a few years later. I started my journey into the trance from this tune... You can imagine typical Russian town in the early 2000s and no one have idea what is the Trance, internet access is very limited, but only because these Russian guys managed to get to the top of UK charts, all main radio stations in Russia started rotate this track. And it was life changing moment for me when I heard it :)
Hello, my story is similiar but in Midwestern USA year 2001, me and a few friends were into techno, everyone else was still rap or rock at the time. I think we downloaded off of Kazaa or Morpheus. This is an all time classic.

Best memory of this one, going a heavy metal rock club for a friend of a friends birthday and demanding they play this. It came on and me and my mates went crazy on the dance floor while all the rockers watched us. Then they all got up, came over looking all serious and stern.... and joined us!. We all went mental together. United by this masterpiece. Great times!

That's nice cuz I know many rock heads that hate anything remotely "electronic" sounding and rave heads that hate anything rock related because "this isn't a moshpit, it's about love and dancing" or whatever hippie-dippie BS to feel like dancing on drugs is some deep experience. (I'm a raver. I do that too, but I don't wank myself over it.)
Just look up any video of a rave/festival where someone drops a rock remix and people mosh for fun. There are ALWAYS comments like "this is a rave, not a moshpit" and other pretentious ass gatekeepy crap. As someone who loves proper punk rock and proper rave music, STFU.

It's a good one - but in the end it's just a remix. Original tune was composed in 1979. It's called "Death of the hero", written by Eduard Artemyev. It's on UA-cam to hear it. PPK's Resurrection is very cool, but original one is rather epic and has much more depth to it. Both are for different occasions, obviously.

This one is a favorite from my very early days when I got started on electronic music. This was the last track on DJ Irene's Phonosynthesis album, and along with Sarah Mclachan - Silence, might be the first real trance song I fell in love with. I actually still own all but her most recent release, though I don't listen to those often anymore.
