It's unfortunate that there are genuine Nigerian students in Republic of Benin, but to say that that scandal is not perennial in that place is a mirage.

There are students genuinely schooling in all accredited schools in Benin Republic.
I was a faculty member in one of the schools and studies is very rigorous.
Please FG should consider the legitimate students in these schools
There should be thorough investigations of some Nigerian Universities, I have heard of similar things happening too. Wealthy students buying degrees.
The federal government should tread carefully so as not to punish other students who are legally studying at such universities

Even Nigerian Universities also sell Certificate degrees on a daily basis, and they will put everything into the school record and backdate it especially witb the part time or sandwich programs, ecem the full time programs, see kettle calling pot black. Abeg Nigeria does this thing so well.
Benin Republic is excellent and more affordable than Nigeria Universities plus no strike. The nation is angry that Nigerians are leaving to study Abroad. If not that UK and other European countries are higher than us, they would have messed up Thier own system and say the UK certificates also are fake.

We hope that God will put an end to this thing soon. but the government should also investigate the NYSC on the issue of biometrics, how can a person serve in 2019 and re-enter the camp in 2023 with the same biometric, how will this happen?

There are some people that graduated from cotonu sch at least they use 3 to 4 yrs and the sch will not allow you to graduate if you are not serious they have discipline

Maybe someone wanted to disagree the name of that school some of students attended the school very well until ended. I believe someone used the name of that school in Bénin to issue certificate to those who never be part or attend the school.Second point it was not obligation to go to school in Nigeria too much corruption, Nigeria university did those things but Nigeria government never trying to end corruption in Nigeria government. For a very long time their standard a more resaon while Nigeria Law never accredited any university in Benin or grant any candidate an admission in to law sch. So wake up thnik and always be sure of whatever u type or before replying to a comment. Not always good to listen or read only to reply but also learn to educate and to have evidence

Just tell me why would law sch not admit my sister after completion of her 5yrs program at same university. He was being passionate about the law profession and we had no choice than to re-enrolled her into a university in Nigeria to complete another long sphere of year see long I have known and also visited them for more clarification I have discouraged alot trying to sch up there ... Simply cos they couldn't pass jamb or get admitted in to Nigeria infact Nigerian are 90 percent studying at Benin sch even their indigen came down to Nigeria and study

Nigerian govt acted stupidly for banning certificate from Benin and Togo. What if the school was in the UK, Canada and US, would Nigerian govt have banned the certificate coming from these countries?
Nigerians' lecturers and institutions are being wicked to their students. But in these foreign schools the students graduate the exact date of graduation while in Nigeria students were spending years beyond their graduation date due to strikes. Either we like it or not someone is trying hard to be mischievous because Nigerian students are now finding their way outside the country.

Half-baked SRC President. I'm glad to the Federal Government of Nigeria took that bold step by the suspension. This should never have happened in the first place. Students who have benefited from this scheme should also lose their job placement and be forced to return back to complete their degrees in an approved school with accredited courses. Shortcuts ain't allowed and shouldn't be tolerated.

Your president Tinubu school in Chicago and brought a fake certificate, here in Nigeria just yesterday, Nuc have enlisted 37 schools in Nigeria that are not accredited and approved and also giving fake certificates and should be closed down.
