During this match she did counts of PANCAKE and also contributing some points from attack/spike and serve which not her roles as a setter. She did a good job to carry out lavarini play style (in NT) which comes to life with speed volleyball that highly reliant on the setter where the hitter or spiker should always be prepared. Ldy was way better in Hillstate (under lee do hee), and under NT (where Lavarini focused on setter & played speed volleyball) compared to in pink spider, whereby coach Mihee seems to have limited their/her play style by a lot. I always think that went to Pink spider was her biggest mistakes. I’m not saying Ldy are the best setter out there but in korea right now she sure is the one. You can hate her because of her past behaviour but not her skills.

Japan has always been commended for their quickness and defense. But I guess a little has been said about their mental aptitude and composure, which play a big role in their game. Although they lost it, the second set was a proof of that, resulting to put Korea in a very pressured state. I love these two teams when they play against each other!!!

In some Asian countries, suicide rates are extremely high (South Korea being one of those countries). Therefore, bullying is taken a lot more seriously. It makes up a pretty nice portion of the suicides there whether it be at work or at school. And they can’t afford NOT to take it seriously which means that they can’t tolerate it. That’s why the twins were “cancelled” or in this case held accountable according to the laws and beliefs of South Korea.
