Notice how he didn't sue his actual accusers, he's suing the producers who gave them a platform to speak out. Wow, just wow.

@@lessismore8533The internet already knew about Dan's creepy behavior from UA-camrs/Bloggers & assumed he was a p3do. If Dan was going to sue anyone, it would've been any UA-camrs/Bloggers that accused him of CSA & helped push that narrative w/o any substantial evidence.
I remember first coming across this story on Sloan's channel. Sloan atleast had better intergrity than some of the other UA-camrs at that time. I remember seeing some wild things being said on other channels. I highly doubt the videos are still up. The damage is already done, but I honestly don't feel bad. If Dan wasn't being a creep, no one would think he could be a p3do.
@@lessismore8533It's weird that Dan is choosing to sue the docuseries when the docuseries only accused him of sexual harassment & verbal abuse. Drake Bell and some other former cast members even put him in a more positive light to show that Dan wasn't all bad too. I'm starting to think Dan didn't even watch the docuseries & just assumed the aftermath/backlash came purely from the docuseries which isn't the case.

Nickelodeon has produced some of my favourite childhood cartoons such as Rugrats and As Told by Ginger, but the mask is off - it's a cesspool of predators

He's not suing to protect his reputation, he's suing to collect a settlement check. It's not worth it to the network to fight his claims, it's cheaper for them to settle out of court.

I don’t think she cared, she probably did that extra stuff for the fame and maybe a few extra bucks. Dan said it himself, he knows kids want to be famous. But I believe he groomed her to be that extra. The potato and water bits as well as asking kids to send in their feet pics was seriously crossing the lines of what is right and what is (seriously) wrong. I believe those scenes were made for an adult audience, but millions of kids were watching & I know I was disturbed by them.

I've noticed the child stars who made it really big and most famous aren't speaking yet, such as Ariana, Justin, Miley, Raven, even Jayden Smith. It's the "smaller" people speaking out...perhaps bc they haven't been tied into such big contracts and have less to lose, idk. In 20-30 years from now maybe they'll finally u tell their stories. It reminds me very much of finding out about how old Hollywood really worked. One day, we'll know about the Hollywood of our generation too, and it will be sickening, as it always has been. Idk why u want to even be in LA and associate yourself with that environment.

My first reaction to the lawsuit was “facts and opinions are not defamation.” But after reading the lawsuit, I feel like he does technically have a case. HOWEVER, good luck to him.
