Why won't you play War Thunder?
▪️ I raged at getting sniped by tanks that I could never see. Also nonsense like turning bushes off that helps you perform better. That seems like a terrible design to me. War Thunder also had drama several years ago about the CEO calling the fanbase to help strike down channels or using copyright strikes to eliminate channels entirely. That is such abuse of power and dictatorial nonsense that I refuse to play a game created by such a company.

I'd be intrigued to see more of what the 50 year disparity looks like. Perhaps using historical ships? For example, how many older battleships can a single tribal class destroyer take down? How many pre-dreadnoughts can the Dreadnought sink?
As a native of Connecticut, that first round with Connecticut and New Haven getting blasted was extremely satisfying.
Even better if it had been the Waterbury.
You should try to create pre-dreadnoughts with 1940s technology, or a challenge where you have to use obsolete technology in a modern hull.

Tried it. Didn't work out. You get a fat DD at 70% beam. It's slow, doesn't turn, doesn't speed up and doesn't make for good content.

If only we didn’t have so many long hulls
(Small Dreadnought is probably the shortest in length to beam ratio)
Of course, those long hulls would be good for negative beam (certain hulls have thin? Superstructures)

This engagement reminds me of the sinking of the Austro-Hungarian dreadnoughts by Italian MAS trorpedo boats during WWI. The Italians don't get the credit they deserve today, they didn't have a 50 year tech advantage but their boats and tactics were very advanced fir their day

If you can make torpedo boats from the future, can you make battleships from the future? I.e, an 1890's battleship with 1940's tech?
tbh, torpedo boats should've remained unlocked since for example: the german navy used them in ww2 mainly as coastal patrol boats
Don't forget that the USA used them in the pacific. JFK was a sailor on one pretty famously.
Another interesting design…the amount of wacky designs that can be made is both great and hilarious.
Yes the tech is expensive, but keep in mind you can build those in a lot smaller dockyard then a BB.
Plus crew numbers….although maintenance/repair costs is probably bankrupting.

Oh right, you're colorblind. Well when placing towers, there is a yellow dashed line that means it can rotate but not fire in that sector. A red dashed line means that tower cannot rotate to that position. I'm guessing the red dashed line would be a darker gray compared to the yellow one. [EDIT] To be fair, they are VERY close in shade and requires significant effort to tell them apart even though I have good enough color vision (not 20/20 but colors work fine). I'm going to report that as a bug.

boats like this "existed", the german Schnellboot for example, 2x 21" + 2 reloads, 1 37mm and 2 20mm.
Heck on a 400 ton chassis, today... Germany has a 36 man boat, that carries 1x 76mm oto (3"), 4x Exocet missiles, but they had space left over so they added a 21 cell RAM anti-air missile system.
some of these went just nuts, greeks fit a pair of 3" guns on a boat that pulled 57 knots.

are you able to change the weight using file? so you can have something with as much armor and guns as it can hold on the deck, basically infinite weight limit

I am rewatching this Video on my Tablet; thus, my 05:08 Comment negates My Original Intention of this 06:57 Comment in reference to your Torpedo Boat Torpedo Weapon System is Glitching/Bugging.
However, the Remaining Comment is still relevant.
I have seen other UA-camr Videos, godspeedthunder, experiencing the same Glitch/Bug of Deck Torpedo Tubes being able to Rotate; even though, there is no Deck Space for Deck Torpedo Tubes to Rotate at all.
-- 90° Torpedo Tube Placement that has no Deck Space for Rotate are being able to fire Torpedoes at the 45° Angle.
This is clearly a Glitch/Bug that needs to be worked on.

If I remember correctly, you Selected A Hull; then, went to Game Set-Up Options; then, Selected "Unlock All Technology"; then, Return To Game; and, All Game System Hulls were available for Selecting.
¿Did those Hulls included Ironclads and Coastal Defense Monitors?
¿Could you still do that with the 1.05 Updates?
¿Could you Select "Forward Superstructure" and "Aft Superstructure" and "Main Guns" and "Secondary Guns" and "Casement Guns" and "Underwater Torpedo Tubes" and "Funnels" and "Barbettes" in order to "Unlock All Technology" for each Feature as well?
It would be really nice if ULTIMATE ADMIRAL: DREADNOUGHTS did have a Game System Mechanic that allowed for 1860s Ironclads & Coastal Defense Monitors to co-exist with Warships from other Naval Eras, or to Modify Warship Hulls with Other Naval Era Technologies; without, having to Hack SAVE Files.
