At 24:40 (and other times), note that you should gain 1 Renown for *EACH* 1st, 2nd, and 3rd unique trade goods, and 2 Renown for *EACH* of the 4th and 5th unique trade goods, and 3 Renown for the 6th and final unique trade good. So you can get 10 Renown total through the trade goods. See page 13 of the manual.😊. Thanks for the video playthrough!
Pretty sure when you build the small workshop and the small granary you get an extra civilian for free! You tick off the box next to it with the meeple in it. You can also start building up the theatre instantly
Thanks for the playthrough! One of my favorite solo games to play, especially the campaign is great in how every mission slightly changes the rules. Hotel and Workshop actually give you a worker on the same turn you build them, that's why the +worker boxes are there next to the circle. Market should give you Renown from each purchased good you don't own yet, taken from the rulebook: "the first 3 unique Trade Goods they purchase each reward 1 Renown".
Just bought this game today and this was just what I needed. Thank you for your play through. Awesome video! It was great to hear your thoughts when you were playing.
When you filled in your small precinect, you forgot to award yourself with 1 piety. Also each market action awards a Renown VP, the first 3 will reward 1 each, the 4th and 5th will award 2 each.
Merrily (inadvertently) cheated my way through my first play through, because who reads rules, I thought I was doing well just to figure out combinations and didn't appreciate the granary 'block' to the all the wall sections.... so here to augment my understanding of all the dependancies - and then go back and read the rules.
I'm slammed with games from PAX U (ATO came while I was at the con), but the current plan is for Bairnt to do a playthrough, or even a series of plays, and for me to do a review, just to divide things up some. But in all likelihood my review won't be until January. Won't really have time with work to dig into ATO until the holidays :(
@@OneStopCoopShop You turned 2 units into 1 in the forum, and soldiers are not allowed in the forum at all. So you cant turn 2 soldiers into something else, or 2 of something else into one soldier.

Oh, didn’t know that about hotel and workshop. Definitely makes them even more attractive :)

So glad it was helpful!

Thanks for that!
Changing to the sharpie was a good move.
Haha, yeah 😅
Great playthrough. I just bought it the other day and I think I'm ready to play 👍.
Best of luck!!!
I didn't realize this could be played solo.
Heck I’d say that’s the MAIN way to play it. The competitive play is basically solo too. The interaction between players is HIGHLY limited
I only play solo :)

Hope you’re having fun regardless
Hi mike. My chance of an Aeon trespass playthrough?

@@OneStopCoopShop totally get it. It’s an awesome game but soooo many questions
You cant use soldiers as a unit when you convert them. Not to or from a soldier.
Not sure what you are referring to, sorry. Do you have a timestamp to clarify the error?

Oh, got it now, good catch! Thanks for the explanation
@@robinasplind335wow, love the thematics of that: soldiers aren’t allowed in the forum, of course.
