Around 9:50 you say that seventeen didn't have anyone to look up to in the same way, I'm not sure i get what you mean? They did have sunbaes when they debuted, there was nu'est which they are close to and to an extent after school and pristin, that although they are girl groups i feel like there is actually an influence (like bss is sort of svt's version of after school's orange charamel) do you mean because they were more successful?
My meaning was more so the caliber of synchronicity, and to a small degree the level of success perseverance can help with. Their other sundaes had some successes but not to the degree that would make them “successful” in the eyes of consumers, so I guess my perspective with it is more so seventeen was one of the first groups to “succeed” on a global scale to this degree from pledis so having hoobaes means that the bar has been set high and they already have a certain degree of “success” simply because of who they are debuting after company wise and their affiliation with Hybe. I hope I am making sense 😂
also at 18:00 don't worry you're not missing anyone scoups and jeonghan weren't there, you got bumzu right, he's a solo artist under pledis and he works with woozi in most of svt's songs, the woman is hyerim i think, she's their performance director but i could be wrong
@@pamelaguerra3768 yes! And also seventeen experienced what it was like for the company to NOT do well… and that’s different than TWS case since the company has joined Hybe and is thriving so the pressure as a group does hit a little different if that makes sense!
@@jess_holyfield After School was actually quite successful (not SNSD level but they had a few hits) in their time. They lost a lot of traction in their last years due to long hiatuses between comebacks and popular members leaving the group, but most of the Seventeen members joined when After School was still popular. And After School was especially known for their performances and dancing (as hard as it can get with towering high heels on, it's still early 2nd gen kpop after all). Solid dancing and performances is kind of a Pledis legacy lol.
12:20 Yes, that's Joshua 😊
Woohoo!
