Hope he can win us the cup this year as much as his personal numbers are great we gotta look at the playoffs which we’ve barely been to this year’s playoffs will prove if hes a hof guy or just another superstar player

Just to let you know that one player can't make the difference. Top centres play around 1/3 of the game and only cover one spot out of 5. It's a team sport and need team effort. Like Mcdavid is definetly already HOF level player but what about Oilers success in playoffs? Give me one example where a player has lead his team to stanley cup by himself. Gretzky needed help,Lemieux,Crosby,Ovechkin etc all needed help. Some greats never won the cup because they played on bad team. Also team without superstars can win cup. It's all about team work
