I completely understand your frustration with the lack of room/space and the layout of campers. After owning 2 toyhaulers and not being happy with them , we bought a new cargo trailer and are in the process of converting it to a camper/toyhauler. You can build it the way you want it and its built far better than the junk these RV manufacturers are putting out!

As someone who just recently bought a toy hauler too, I'd be all for you making toy hauler related videos. I'm not sure if you remember me from a couple years ago, we met in Fort Worth and I followed your channel for some time, but I'm glad to see you're making videos similar where you began. I also followed Josh (Shadetree) for a time, and then he became a traveling circus show and I quit on him. Shortly after him making the video bragging that he was "high" while riding through Texas and Louisiana and talking about how he disliked the people in the states, I saw his videos turn into a bunch of carnies with no standards. I hope your videos do well again, like what I remember you in the early days of your channel. Maybe you could also include Jordan in more videos too?

Let me start by saying your videos are pretty cool and enjoyable to watch so for that thank you for sharing. I have a toy hauler and when I started RVing it wasn't so bad because we only have my bike, my wife does not ride her own for safety reasons😅. When we started our tow vehicle was under rated to tow the first camper and that was stressful and I can understand that. Since mom joined our camping ventures we decided to upgrade everything. We started with the truck and traded the suv for a 1 ton pickup and sold the travel trailer and purchased a fifthwheel toy hauler. If at all possible you should upgrade your truck just for the stress levels alone, but if that's not possible just take your time on the road and be safe. Again thank you for sharing and keep doing what you doing👍😎

Not sure if anyone suggested but owning a camper for 30 plus years I would like to make a suggestion. I seen Jordan may be filing the lines with anti freeze. My camping friends and I have learned years ago to just blow the lines out with air. And then put some anti freeze down the drains. Makes it so much easier in the spring when using. Have to just drain the water heater and the close the bypass lines when blowing. I use about 30lbs of pressure.

We live in a 1984 Blue Bird Wanderlodge, we also have a 24 ft trailer/ toy hauler for storage and our bikes. We have a Ford pickup but since I suck at trying to haul the trailer my husband drives the bus and hauls the trailer (he's a truck driver so he has no problem with it🤷‍♀️). We travel for his work along the gulf coast doing disaster recovery cleanup. We've been in Florida for the last couple of months and will be here for the "winter". He's been riding for 40+years, I just started 3 months ago and go for my msf course this coming weekend. He just bought a 2023 HD Road Glide ST last week and bought me a 2023 Honda Rebel 1100T DCT a few months ago. I agree that traveling and working, while making time to ride can be an issue. He has a youtube channel Traveling in a Blue Bird Wonderlodge, just posted a video I didn't realize I was even in🤦‍♀️ until he'd posted it, I'm going to strangle him, he could have at least waited till I brushed my hair!

My 5th wheel trailer is just shy of hauling 2 cars cause it's got bathroom, shower and sink. I insulated the walls and we stayed in it at 22 degrees and was fine. We normally drag race in Orlando so we tow their and race cars and bring the bikes. Glad y'all are following your dreams. 👍

After that, we still get homesick and need some more space so it is back to the sticks and bricks. I will hand it to anyone that can literally go full time in an RV. For me a long vacation yes, full time, hell NO! Hopefully you and Jordan have a wonderful time and can make it work out! I am a little envious because I can't stand Ohio winters anymore.

One trick to making Rv'ing a bit cheaper is do a couple of nights without full hookups. Try it with electric only if available. Then stay a night with full hookups so you can dump your tanks and all that. Saving 20 bucks a night can add up big time after a couple of months. Just thought I would toss that out there.

Why I went from a box truck to a big bus, no room for much stuff and I get the expense camping, you can easily spend a grand a month just on car /tent spaces. You can save money having a big battery bank , solar and Vehicle charging. I just charge off my car right now and it works for phone, lights and a little cooking.

So the thing to remember is you can get a topper for the truck and put some more things you may need to bring along.

In Myrtle Beach there's a big campground Lakewood we've stayed there a few months the longer you stay it is more affordable there's 2 other campgrounds on each side of it ocean lakes and pirate land from what I've heard it's kinda in order of good better and best pirate land then Lakewood then ocean lakes. Something you could check into it's not as hot as Florida but has plenty of good riding days

Usually the water holding tanks are small... also when it's time to "pinch-a-loaf" you might use an outside commode as much as possible poop will stink up the trailer pretty bad the holding tanks are tiny and no offence but "keep out" is mandatory or you will have a ton of friends wanting to "borrow the toilet"...
