- My Beautiful green ring-neck Parrot wants me to wake up and play with him.Ring-neck parrots are active and intelligent birds they need lot of attention from there owner and they want to play with them and make beautiful voices.They have excellent skill to make all kind of human voices with very clear voice

When we lived in India for a while we had a ring neck who did not like to see us taking afternoon naps. He roamed free and would try to wake us up in turn just like in this clip. They must think we are ill or dead and feel bad. He was so much part of our family and funny, then one day he flew away possibly to start his own family. Hope he did. He used to say mitto as well, meaning sweety.

One of them ignored the seeds I brought them everyday, he always wanted to cuddle me first. He flew at my head level in a sort of stationary position , like a helicopter when I was approaching the door !
