3000/3100 Class are Diesel Railcars operated by the State Transport Authority and its successors in Adelaide. They were built by Comeng and Clyde Engineering between 1987 and 1996 and are the workhorse of the non-electrified suburban rail network in Adelaide

Flannel... that was the word I was looking for! They're pretty big in these parts too. They were a big part of my wardrobe as a teen. I only have a few these days. I guess living in Florida, I stopped buying them - and moving back north, I didn't really start again. I think the other youtuber I mentioned is from Massachusetts (I was born there, but raised in southern New Hampshire... very close by).
