Count the teeth on the ring and pinion. Divide them. A 3.26 diff will have 49 teeth on the ring and 15 on the pinion. My 3.13 diff is 47/15
So I commented that before I finished the video lol. Is the thud feeling any time the wheels are moving or when you let off the gas or what?

Did you ever figure out the thud? I have the exact same right now. I only feel it or hear it a little when going at low speed (less than 20mph) or when turning at low speed. I noticed you are missing the right diff mount bushing and my na supra is missing the same one hmm🤔

On GM ring gears they usually have the gear ratio stamped on them, but idk about other manufacturers. If you don't want to take the diff apart to find that out, you have to count the rotations of the wheels vs the driveshaft.

3.26 was the gear Toyota choose for 96 and up Supras. I have a 3.769 and a v161 transmission and love it

Good to see the progress man, hopefully you find that problem ASAP.
Man I need to order some Poly for my Rear diff just make everything feel new again, please review the feel in the future.
Would love to see how you got the Diff Ratio as well via the count it method lol. I believe there's a way to do it diff closed too.

Did it end up being those subframe bushings behind the diff? Was one missing? @ 6:30

You mentioned a tire issue you had from a nail or something.. Even though new mount is properly balanced tires still have defects from time to time.. Instead of changing major parts why not swap wheel/tire set from other Supra and try that to rule out the thudding and prove that its not a tire before you keep digging internal.. Just a thought..

Thought it did, sadly still can feel it. Most wouldn’t notice it but it’s driving me crazy!

@@PureFunction did you do both sides? It would drive me nuts too, don't blame ya! Get someone to operate the car on the lift and use something to track the sound down maybe? We sometimes use a trick sticking a long extension on X area and the other end to your ear, kinda like a Stethoscope to find where sounds are coming from - or at least narrow it down

@@BryceJordanProductions sadly it’s not a sound, it’s a “feeling” zero sound at all. All feeling under my ass 😂 which says it’s the drivehsaft, rear or axles.
