Some of the graphics make so much more sense on this game. Lap count and lap time together. The sector colour is easier to see. Position and driver list together. Just so logical
The menu is cleaner as well, like each segment of the quick race config menu being on the R1/L1 "page" system instead of these massive tiles. Photomode works better, just smoother and renders out better, with a less intrusive watermark as well. It's SO good from head to toe.
The tiles menu pisses me off so much from a design and functionality perspective. Let's take a well though out, functional menu that takes up 20% of the screen, and rearrange it into a bazillion tiles that you have to scroll offscreen to see, and that constantly rearrange themselves so that nothing is ever in the same place. At least we got F1 life 🙈

The handling model is not pony, then the cross-play being implemented was always going to cause issues, the online lobbies was the only thing I played it for and the fun element of it disappeared in this latest version.

I miss not driving a car that behaves more like a plow due to the understeer...I miss the soft tyres lasting more than two laps. I miss being able to use a setup with downforce without getting blitzed on the straights by someone using 0-0 wings...God bless you, Jarno. Fuck you, Codies. This is just so good.
This game was so good because it had input from actual drivers and everything made so much sense in terms of UI and everything else. F1 22 was and still is absolute shit because the handling model sucks and it’s buggy no matter which bugs get fixed. Unfortunately, EA doesn’t give a flying figgity mcfuck about getting information from the drivers, so we may be stuck with the ice physics for F1 23.
Its the best game because of my team introduction+a good ers system+the ffb and handling is better than 2021 and especially 2022 that has so many issues
