That wrestlemania 29 match was honestly underrated, and the fact he considered it one of his best despite it being essentially a "punishment" match for him, he deserves a lot of love after Vince's departure.

That match with him and taker is a GEM 💎 and I feel is very underrated. But him and cena on that raw I went and watched LIVE and boy that was special. The crowd was on FIRE the entire match.
I find it very interesting that three of his favorite matches of all time were at a period of time where he was so incredibly frustrated & sick of his situation. It's almost like his frustration caused him to work harder & the pride that came from going above and beyond made him appreciate those matches more.
I think his match with Cena at Night of Champions 2013 was so underrated. The ring psychology of him using Rock Bottom and working like a heel. The GTS yellow t shirt and black shorts. 2013 was special because I got my pug when I needed him most when he was a newborn.
Money In the bank 2011 with Cena, the stakes and the whole match was just amazing. Has to be up there. Drew HIAC match, probably WWE Match of the year for me. I can't remember some specific matches but I remember CM Punks rivalry with Jeff Hardy hit hard man. Even the Rey Mysterio matches.
The Brock match and undertaker match where beautiful because, not only where they good, but punk showed that he was wrestling with passion and something to prove to Vince.
Honestly I think the Cena one goes higher because the one against Taker and Brock were never going to happen for him. It never felt like it could go either way.

a lot of that was perpetrated by young folks that only saw him do the same moves every time (I was a teenager back then too) The reality is, Cena is great at telling a story in the ring, and he's freaky strong. The other reality is, the guy was never very "smooth" in the ring, would overact a lot and be loud as hell when calling spots in the ring.
Cena Punk at money in the bank 2011 was brilliant. But that Monday Night Raw match they had with Cena’s title match at stake was a thing of beauty. If people still think Cena couldn’t wrestle, stop what you’re doing and go back to these matches
Those were great string of matches. That Brock one always sticks out to me because I’m pretty sure that’s the last time Brock had a competitive match for awhile. After that one it was dominating people none stop for a few years and you kinda knew where a program with Brock was going. The build up and match between Brock and punk was really great.
When he kicked out of the tombstone, I was convinced he was gonna break the streak. I watched it again the other day after not seeing the match since it happened and it was just as good as I remembered.
I would say his ROH series with Samoa Joe easily leaves all of his picks in the dust from an in-ring perspective, whereas his dog-collar match against Raven is a storytelling masterpiece. I would definitely include some of those in a top 3 Punk matches list.
