***** Her label mishandled her career, that's why her 3rd album was never released in US and didn't do well in the UK. However, she has a record of most top 5 hits since last year :) She has changed labels and will release her 5th album next year :)
imho THE most underrated supreme talent of this era. The best of her music has always been special, and now it's evolving into areas where we can really appreciate the universal nature of her voice. Unfortunately, they only promoted weaker tracks on GlassHeart. I can't believe that they didn't even release 'Come alive', and 'Un-love me' at all, let alone first. Those would have catapulted her back to the top of the pile where she belongs. Let's hope Island records know what the hell THEY are doing with her new album.

Still, I'm hoping the small sales of Glassheart didn't mess too much with Le's confidence in her brilliant change of musical directions, so that she ends up playing it safe with an album of mostly ballads. Don't get me wrong, I'm allways blown away by her ballads (hell, I'd buy an album of her singing nursery rhymes!) but she would get buried by the not so loyal public. With the right material and that voice you *know* that bleeding love could happen all over again. After all, people may have forgotten and moved on, but no one can ignore the fact that she's still *that* good.

leona slayed those notes at the end. "glassheart" is leona's best album to date. i don't care how underperformed it was. the album displayed leona's talents to try different genres of music and i think she did an amazing job. she had a mixture of trip-hop, dubstep, R&B, electronic and synthpop.
Twilight is her best album.

This is my ' go to' when I've been suppressing my emotions as it gets the tears flowing every time, without fail. 3.49 minutes of instant therapy! The combination of Leona's epic delivery and the atmospheric video graphics is sheer genius, and so moving. Should have been a massive hit for her.

I remember when my father passed away. I stayed at his house for about a week after. He and mom raised me there. Always had fireflies in the summer to catch and play with. On my last night there as I was leaving never to go back again I remember stepping out of the house at dark and the air was thick with fireflies. Across the field in the woods all over. Never have I ever seen anything like it before or after. This song reminded me of that night. Silly I guess but in some way I think they were there to pay homage to my Dad. Anyways this has become one of my favorite songs.
It's ins not silly. It is in perfect symphony with the sings message.

Simco only cares about money right now, and it's easier to make fast money with other artists that aren't technically and vocally speaking as complex as Leona. Leona has a voice that it's quite versatile, and it's only her falseto what makes her easier to go for pop songs rather than other kinds of music, but if you listen to her latest single you'll see that she is using all her vocal potential now and that she will start touching new and refreshing genres of music. This was a really great album as well, just that Simco didn't know how to manage to keep an artist with Leona's level, and I'm quite glad she left Simco, suck Simon Cowell, you used to go after Leona's ass all day back then and now you just give up on her and throw her like trash? Big mistake, she is coming back better than ever. Leona is one of the best artists nowadays and she deserves much more.

Best lyric video I've ever seen, I love how it starts so Calmly, tranquil blue night, then as she starts going nuts at the end the fireflies start going nuts too with a burning red sun to match her burning passionate voice. wowowowowow!!
