I recommend sophisticated storage for you. It's basically sophisticated backpacks, but for chests and barrels. Big barrels!

Love that mod, i have a small home with diamond barrels and a search addon
I love that I can compress my coal and into block and smelt my ores in the barrel. create might be faster at smelting, but it makes it easy to set it and forget it.
i would recommend the Create Immersive Aricrafts texture pack, to give the planes and other aircraft a more "create" feel!

You can still improve even when you feel like you can't (unless you've built the best minecraft build to ever exist)
Always when starting a new world with Create, I aim to make a press, mixer, and 4 encased fans (one each for smelting, washing, smoking, and haunting) as soon as possible. That allows me to process all materials without wasting any fuel... I tend to use 15-16 waterwheels to power that setup.

I love builds that integrate functionality
To build on the tree harvesting trick, if you don't want to run around collecting all of the blocks on the ground, use a mechanical piston with 1 extension pole and a chest. You'll need glue, but it's so much cleaner as it's a contraption and all of the blocks go in the chest. It's great if you want to deforest a big area using Dejojo's connected trees trick.
you don't even nees glue if you place the saw and chest in a line and the piston at the end so it directly pushes both
hey bro ive also been enjoying the immersive planes mod with create, feels so awesome being a steam punky pilot. highly reccomend the resource pack that changed the plane texture to a more create look.
Small tip if it hasn’t been said or you don’t know. You can put glowstone dust on framed blocks to illuminate the area.
u can place a depot in the airflow of a fan and wash/blast stuff on the depot, that way u can slap it down and not worry about it despawning if u do something else while it processes

Imagine if you could push items from the bottom barrel to the saw. Maybe with a drawer equipped with a pusher upgrade or something similar? I assume it might prove a bit painful to use the saw since it can only hold one item in it at a time and the funnel might try to pick up any floating blocks on top.
I would recommend having either Valhelsia furniture or handcrafted as well, if you love decorating the insides of buildings, if you would love to decorate industrial places, Immersive Engineering would be the perfect mod with the addon called Engineers Decor

Dejojo probably was watching Howl Moving Castle whilst mining. That's also where he got his inspiration for the starter base from.
Create Mekanized so far a great mod pack, sadly it lacks some stuff for end-game.
I also play it at the momant and I also have added some mods to it to suit it more to my playstyle.
Those would be:
Powah -> more reliable reactors for end-game, since I don't like rebuilding Mekanism reactors after there blew up if you forgot to stock up on cooling!
Refined Storage -> End-game storage solution
Sophiticated Backpacks -> Good for early game and insanely good for ender storage, since you can combin those backpacks with shulkerboxes and chest.
Storage Drawers + Framed Compacting Drawers -> Iron Chest and Tom's simple storage mods aren't my style of storage!

Macaw's Bridges | Fences and Walls | Lights and Lamps | Paths and Pavings | Windows + the Oh the biomes you'll go add-on's
Polymorph -> why is this feature not native for this pack?
Iron Furnace -> just for deko
Botany Pots and Trees -> more for early game and for deko
Botania -> for deko as well as end-game for effects like to stack effects and also for deko
Create Recycle Everything -> good for turning trash into usefull stuff
Create: The Factory must grow -> better than create dieselgenerators and a end-game option to get my hands on more su
Disable enderman picking up blocks by 雨过天清 -> don't want to play with gamerule anti mob grieving true, melons, pumpkins aren't effected
+2 more create add-on's but I don't remember there names.
A large reason for why I didn't add these mods is to not bloat the modpack. Refined Storage was not added to highlight the use of QIO (since it's Create: Mekanized), Powah I didn't add due to, again, Mekanism needing to be used, and Botania because it doesn't fit the scope of the modpack.
However, the next update I plan to have for the modpack will make the mid-game and end-game much better! So stay tuned...

Dejojo, small building criticism: have you ever seen a pitched roof made out of bricks? It just looks not quite right. That aside I loved the corner beams and am stealing the idea for my own world.

fyi, you get a better output if u use the saw, just put the shaft as the output or else it will be the andesite scafolding

Why does the crafting table have to go next to the furnace? Couldn't it go on top of the furnace? Or how about adjacent to the furnace? Also, you don't have to use the high tier upgrades. You can use multiple of the same upgrades. For instance, if you use 3 gold stack upgrades, you can hold more than 40,000 stackable(64) items in one stack. The effect the stack upgrades have is multiplicative, not linear. Why waste diamonds and netherite when you can just do that?
