Vic is honest about what he is not sure about. That is refreshing. Most astrologers on youtube exude attitude and confidence, that isnt backed with research.
Indeed, theory is the foundation. You are one of the handful of astrologers, who comprehends Vedic astrology, in a scientific manner. I salute you, Vic.
Supremely interesting! I have 6th lord conjunct Ketu which is sudden explosion and this is indeed since birth by my mother, sister and brother (2nd house). There was much violence and I was the smallest and could not defend myself. I also have debilitated 11th lord and 4th lord and a debilitated planet in 4th. Because of this, as I got to know what the problem is, I got obsessed about learning about narcissism as my 6th lord is Jupiter also in 2nd house. Jupiter being 9th lord of family in general conjunct Ketu. The family was fragile like a bomb. The father was abcent, 10th lord in 12th, jupiter with ketu, debilitated Sun and Saturn conjunct Neptune. I know you do not use outer planets but I see every time Neptune conjuncting a lord just oblititares that aspect or relationship in life.
28:34 ... and 29:58 to 30:50 - so agree with that and i would add to it: cultivating goodness, at least trying to stay more-less normal. I've encountered so much harshness, offensiveness (though i can't get offended: who am i and what's 'da' point), fanatism, square-mindness, stupidity and dirtiness from "jyotish" 'peepl'. It is scarry and sad.
For some of us the 6th lord is also the ASC lord and to complicate things even more it´s exalted in Pisces, which is not that bad, though. Pisces has an interesting and even funny way of dealing with enemies, sometimes pretending they do not exist, other times ignoring their behaviour as if we haven´t noticed their nastiness and almost always creating a lot of confusion in our enemies minds. But, yes, it´s been an interesting life with lord of the 6th house exalted
I’m a Scorpio rising with Mars in Scorpio as my Atmakaraka and 6th house ruler. Mars only rasi aspect is by Saturn from the 9th house in Cancer and ruler of my 4th. Saturn is my strongest planet in Shad Bala. I feel like I’m always in conflict with everyone, but it’s easy for me to walk away from conflict and move on without being hurt very much. I go it alone most of the time. It’s a lonely life, but I overcome after adversity, usually. I’m very resilient; but my life is middling at best. That’s that. I’m a massage therapist, artist and astrologer, but only make money from my massage healing work. It’s hard to make other things work out. It’s been a life long struggle.
6th lord and its placement should be considered not only to see if someone is going to win or lose. This is quite a secondary matter. The most important thing is to see how it could affect your prarabta karma. Weak sixth lord gone 12th from the 6th house, especially if it is a natural benefic, Jupiter or Venus is very good for the native. Prarabta will be easily dissolved and not too intense. Just to give one example.
A weak 6 th lord, anywhere other than in the 6 th house, is a plus. A debilitated planet in the 6 th house, other than the lagna lord, is a plus. Go figure 😂
It’s so interesting considering the “balance” aspect of this interpretation. The fact that a strong 6th lord isn’t actually good in so far as other conditions aren’t met, which makes complete sense as if you yourself are “weak” and your enemies are “strong” you suffer. I’ve always struggled with interpreting difficult lords, but this definitely adds a whole new lens of analysis.
I missed this one live. I have a chart similar to Krishna. Only similarity is, my moon is on the ascendant in Taurus and Venus domicile in the 6th conjunct Rahu. Isn't Rahu considered malefic? Also I also tend to be in conflicts at work if my cinflict is male, it works out for me, but if female , the conflict tends to linger. But overall my enemies seem to be defeated by their own doing it seems from my perspective. What are your thoughts? I wish I could have given you my birth time to put during the live stream for this six house topic. Thanks Vic love your content.
Oh same, except mine is very similar to Lord ram. Cancer ascendant and in my chart Jupiter, Venus, Sun and Mars are exalted. Enemies are there and they seem to act but overall things don't affect my life too much. I am still quite young so maybe things haven't even begin to play out yet.
16:27. "Can you think of a chart which would be relevant..?" The answer is my chart (not sure that i should a "smile" after this statement): Shukra in 6th (hidden, sudden enemies) with Libra lagna. Another reason im always get attacked after my comments (no matter how good they are..and im "lucky" with females stubbing me..excluding my wife, thank You, God!), The good thing it is in Meena/Pisces (exaltation) and it is "my" strongest planet.
I have a parivartana between mars an jupiter there, scorpio rising, mars 2nd house (along with moon and saturn) , Jupiter 6th house. (jupiter squaring sun cap in third house, venus pisces) I've always had pretty good health... wealth is a different story, love life a mess..
I have an exalted 6th lord in 6th house, being also lord of 3rd house (Mercury, Aries ascendant): 3rd is competition, isn't it? How could this be interpreted? It's Mercury, I don't expect it to be physical strength. What kind of strength would that give? If anyone can answer, please. Thank you
So people usually say malefics in dusthanas perform well.. but Mars there would have 8th house drishti on lagna.. which is very bad especially for scorpion asc
Isnt mercury the same as venus? Doesnt it too appear on both sides of the sky? And also like the moon? That would mean that yhe duration of the respective cycles is more relevant than the parts of the sky visibility, no? Also, venus seems more a planet of RESUSCITATION/RESURRECTION than a planet of 'reincarnation", no? - there IS a radical difference betw the two - reincarnation vs resurrection - OBVIOUSLY
basically i agree with everything. But when you watch the actual sky you will notice a difference between Venus, Mercury and Moon. Mercury you really never notice no mater where it is. Venus on the other hand is bright and obvious and even survives a lot of sunlight in the sky. So this is why mercury is not famous for this trait. Rather mercury is rather indistinguishable from the sun, like intellect/sentience is practically indistinguishable from brahman/consciousness. Hence mercury has that symbolism (intellect). Moon goes quite far, it goes around the entire circuit. It doesnt make a figure 8 around the sun, like Venus does. So it does not seem to be performing the same action as Venus. Also, the Moon has many other qualities that are so much more noticeable. First of all it is HUUUGE and bright, secondly it visibly changes shape. So the moon's symbolisms pertain to this much more than to its ability to exist in either the day or night sky. Neither Moon nor Mercury has a 9 month period (hence, reincarnation)
this is very similar to the chapter on longevity wherein comparison was made between lords of 1st house & 8th house. but this really is very subjective. And despite knowing the theory and my past life, I still can't interpret my own chart. I am a Capricorn ascendant with Mars & Mercury conjunction in 7th house + Saturn in 11th house Now as per this chapter's rules, 6th lord (Mercury) being conjunct with a malefic (Mars) in kendra should make 6th lord very powerful. But as per another rule, Mars being lord of 4th house should help in defeating enemies...so, neutral? Saturn ain't good in D1 but good in D9. So, a mixed bag again? At the same time, I've got Sun & Moon (aspected by Jupiter) in 6th house... And whatever that means? and so I know for sure my life has a lot to dealing with problems, and I wish I can defeat them. The last rule makes sense. I messed up on areas related to house numbers 11 & 4, in that order. Now I must become phoenix or die trying :)
The comparison between the first and sixth lords seems pretty straightforward for each rising sign, except for Taurus and Scorpio risings. For them, the sixth lord is the first lord. In that case, how would that apply?
Funny that you hide your sneaky behavior behind a nickname like that. You should change it, Antonio Machado was neither a loser nor a coward, just saying!
If my behavior is sneaky, it is only because I risk being censored if I use names like Biden or Trump when making such comments. My grandfather's name and my uncle's also, happen to be the same as the Spanish poet. Look in the phone book of any area in California and you will find many others. Do you believe that "Brandon the Puppet" (Biden) is less hostile (Hitlerish) than "The Orange Guy"? @@mariajoseverea5504

This is very in depth. I took in a lot of info to think about. Thank you sooo much!!!
Happy New Year Vic, to you and yours. With all good wishes🙏
34:39 - weak 6th lord in kendra: a good point.
35:04 - one of the key points regarding "can i win?" (Lords of 1st and 6th).

Thanks so much for all your input and deep studies that you share. Radheradhe

Vic, about the strong Venus - no wonder why Purva Ashada - the last Venus ruled nakshatra, is called "The Invincible star"
yes !!!!

How about Gemini asc mars in 5th Venus and Saturn 11th ?

Here I am, an good Saturn in 1st Aquarius, and a moon in the 12th 💪💪

it is never bad for the lord of a house to aspect it
