I think those cat and mouse measuring cups, newer or not would definitely sell! 🐈 -just noticed I hadn’t subscribed…I thought I had! So you better believe I clicked the button😂 -watching from Canada 🇨🇦
Thank you and hello from Kansas!! When I was editing the video and saw that little measuring cup set, I had instant regret for leaving them! I can't remember now what price they had on them, but I'm sure you're right about them having some resale value!! They're definitely unique and super cute!! ❤️❤️
Romy would NEVER yell at you !!! He's so soft spoken... smile I like the metal cat from Indonesia because it's so unusual. I'm always on the hunt for the unusual.
Lol, of course Romy wouldn't!! He's a very sweet gentleman!! I liked that cat and thought the same thing!! Almost every place I go I find a few things that I love but leave behind. It's really hard, but if I bought it all, oh my... it would get pricey real quick!! But dang it, that cat was freaking cool!!
Wow - you are really going to town with all of these videos! I notice your channel is steadily growing - I think your effort and work are going to pay off!
I've been trying to get a few weeks worth of videos pre-loaded and so far have them scheduled every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. The channels growing little by little everyday and it's a lot of fun to watch!! I never started my channel to be a "UA-cam star", and still have no desire to be famous. But it's a lot of fun sharing it with folks and learning from everyone!! ❤️❤️
The cutting boards look very Slavic. Yugoslavia used to make a lot of painted cutting boards and such - I love them! Crossing my fingers you go back and grab them . . . 😂
I’ve been a reseller for almost 3 years. I believe the cat and mouse cups would definitely sell. I sell a lot of animal stuff. Pier one sells for me too. Enjoy your channel!
I've come to the realization that I need to start researching more on the resale value of Pier 1 items. I know there's value, but it's crazy sometimes!! It makes sense though. They make cool stuff!!
@ yes especially the older teapots. It does take time to research. I have 2 booths at an antique store here in North Carolina. I have learned so much from people that have been in the business a lot longer than I have.
I'll definitely start looking into it!! I agree on learning from the folks who've been around the block once or twice!! Especially in person because typically those are folks from within your area and have a good sense of the local market! They also can often give pointers on what auction houses or estate sale companies are better. And sometimes even where the hidden spots to look are, lol!!
Those cups could have been Franciscan. They have a peach design. I looked at their website to familiarize myself with their 100's of patterns and the roses come in several colors and there are several fruits and other patterns.
They definitely had that Franciscan vibe and I was thinking they likely were, but they were embossed on the base with England. Good eye though!! And I do the same thing when researching! I like to go to the direct websites, collectors books, etc and just browse. That way hopefully it I do see it or something similar while out, that little bell in my head will ring, lol!!
That goodwill opened within the last year :) It is among my regular rotation but it's hit or miss. Did you hit Red Racks? It is between GW & City Thrift on the same side of Wornal! ❤️
I have a video coming up soon and I go to all 3!! I'd never been to Red Racks and always thought it was geared towards mostly clothing, but as I drove by I saw some things through the window that looked up my alley!! It was definitely hit it miss, but I ended up finding a could of things!!
That's so cool!! Perhaps we'll cross paths someday!! Happy hunting to you as well!! And buckle up for this storm that's coming through!! Stay safe!! ❤️❤️
I'm the Plate King AND the mug Master??! 😂😂😂 I didn't see anything amazing - those weren't Franciscan and even if they were they are available in abundance! 😂
LMAO 🤣😂🤣!! They were embossed with "England" on the base, so definitely not Franciscan! And I agree about Franciscan being available in abundance!! Not that there's not money to be made there, but there's no shortage of them available online, that's for sure!! Yesterday I came across a set of Franciscan Apple cereal bowls and saucers for $2 each. I debated on getting them, but...
It caught me off guard because I'd literally just watched your video where you'd found those angel figurines that someone had painted the eyes black!! How weird that I came across these!! 😂🤣😂
I do come across it occasionally and definitely pick it up if possible!! A few months ago I found a large, vintage Jeanette shell pink divided serving dish!! It has a small flea bite to one of the dividers in the center, but otherwise was beautiful!! It sold for I think around $30 fairly quickly to!! At least where I'm at, and especially out "in the wild", shell pink is a bit more scarce.

It was fun to see you pick up things that I've also picked up and looked over. Thanks for sharing. Happy hunting!

Love finding someone in the KC area! I'm in Independence and have been to several of the stores you visit.
@LoriBlau That's awesome!! If you ever see me out, feel free to come up and say hi!! ❤️❤️

Was wondering if you ever find and buy pink milk glass?
