    Great review, thanks. I’ve watched many, understood very few as I am in Australia so language is an issue, but given thumbs down 👎 to many after a few seconds because of riding like a lunatic in traffic and or without gloves. Rant over, it’s a truly beautiful little bike in every way and I’m considering replacing my VStrom 650 with it. They of course are very different motorcycles, the change would be to more closely align my needs and desires with the bike I own. Tradeoffs tradeoffs🤷‍♂️. 😊

      I am really happy that you liked the video. Australia happens to be one of my favourite countries. My favourites athletes from cricket (Mark Waugh) and motorcycle rallies (Toby Price) are both from Oz.
      Yeah this bike does turn people into hooligans. I know most riders in India think that riding like a jerk looks cool. 🤣
      I have ridden my friends VStrom 650 and that bike is so comfortable, almost like sitting on a couch. It will do everything you ask from it and yet never complain. Ofcourse there’ll be trade offs, when you switch to the little KTM, but I am sure you’ll have a fun time it. 🙏🏼

      @@FTRClub I’m 56 and occasionally am a hooligan, but not in traffic and full protection gear. No gloves and insane riding in traffic is morally wrong especially if you post it online for young people to see. You the VStrom is a fantastic bike but I don’t enjoy having half of my already limited brain power dedicated to planning how to not tip over if parking on uneven ground for example.

    The clarty in voice, words, pronunciation and speech is good. This is my first time watching your video. Based on the quality of video, audio and filler-less english I've subscribed. Hope all of your videos are like this. Cheers mate. Honestly, this channel needs much more recognition and subscribers. My wishes for you to achieve that.

    Lovely hearing some good appreciation for Duke then this is actually a go to bike for many who didn't like the initial version of the Bike😅

      Indeed. This doesn’t feel like a Duke 390 at all, apart from the crazy power.

    Great
    On ur recommendations I had planned the Adventure
    But now new KTM setup as u r saying will be great
    Any idea when we'll be getting our hands of the new Adventure versions

    • @FTRClub
      @FTRClub  11 місяців тому

      I am expecting the Adv version to be launching around tye 2nd quarter of 2024, i.e. April-May. There will be an Adventure and an Enduro version. However, it would be interesting to see if KTM launches both versions in India. I am a bit skeptical that they'd launch the Enduro in India.

    Great review. I was set on getting a 2023 at a end of year good price, but the 2024 looks like it’s worth paying full price to get the new one. I’m in the USA, the difference would probably be $1500. Getting a bargain on the 2023 but having to pay full price for the 2023. What do you think. What would you do. Have you ridden the gen 2 to compare it to this gen 3. I mean extensively or anything. Again, great video.

    • @FTRClub
      @FTRClub  8 місяців тому

      Thanks a lot for taking the time out and watching the video. It really means a lot to me and I really appreciate it.
      I’ve ridden the Gen2 extensively as my close friends own them.
      If the difference in price between Gen 2 and Gen 3 doesn’t go beyond say 700-800 USD, the new one is worth. The bigger motor has become a lot more usable at crawling city speeds and doesn’t need as many downshifts. However, if your usage is mostly on freeways and interstate highways, then I’d recommend getting the Gen2 and save money.
      The higher ground clearance and changes to the engine’s usability comes into help on Indian roads which are usually filled with atrociously high speed breakers and potholes that will put moon’s craters to a shame. However, in the US, the roads are usually as smooth as it can get (based on my experience staying on the east coast in North Carolina and Atlanta). I am sure you will get a really good deal on 2023 stock clearance models.
      I hope this helps. Should you have any other questions, please feel free to post them.

      @@FTRClub awesome, thanks. I’m in Northern California, lots of twisty roads. Don’t have to deal with say San Francisco too much. I know I could put a fuelx computer thing on the generator 2 to clean up the jerkiness of lower gears. I’m guessing $1500 difference between the two in new condition. The US Gen 3 has power pilot tires, that’s an up grade. The Gen three also has adjustable suspension a little and a good working quick shifter. The more I think about it, I believe it’s worth it.
      I have a 2008 990 superduke. It is such a beast you can’t even take your hand off the throttle. That new 390 smoothness sounds welcoming.
      Thanks for your comprehensive response.

      @michaelrieser9928 I agree with you that considering all the changes KTM has done to this little bike, it definitely makes the Gen-3 a great value product.
      In India we are still getting the same Metzeler rubber, which isn’t bad in any way. Since you already own the bigger Duke, I somehow thing saving money on the Gen-2 makes sense, coz for adrenaline rush, you can always hop on the bigger Duke, while the smaller one can be used to daily chores etc, assuming that you plan on keeping both.

      @@FTRClub Actually because my 990 superduke is a 2008 I was going to trade it in. It’s not a simple bike when something needs to be fixed. No bike is simple these days, with all the electronics. The repair and trouble shooting costs can be in the thousands. I’ve always had 1000cc bikes but I’m looking forward to this 390 duke…… still fast enough, cheap on fuel, parts cheap, add on’s cheap. Everything more affordable. I find it exciting to learn how 390cc bikes are so valued in another culture! In the USA it’s buy the biggest one, when really I can never use all the power I am buying. Maybe at a track, but even then I have to have superior skills. I think I will have more fun on this 390 then any super duke or speed triple!

    Nice editing and story telling about the Bike in easy and understandable way, Is this suitable for Highway rides and once in a while off-roading bro ?

    • @FTRClub
      @FTRClub  11 місяців тому

      With 180mm ground clearance, this can definitely handle off-road, quite well.
      For highways, adding a small windscreen would enhance the overall experience. As it is, it can definitely handle highways a lot better than the previous version.
      I hope this helps.🙏🏼

      Yeah even I got to know that there’s a delay with the dispatch of the bikes from KTM-Bajaj factory. This has happened in the past as well with RC200 & RC390 GP editions. I am hopeful that the deliveries should commence by end of Oct.
