For those of you with a torque wrench, its 23.5 lbs/ft for the spark plugs and oem gap is 0.027-0.028 but HKS comes pre gapped to 0.024-0.026 which is recommended for tunes
Great video sir, you forgot the tightening process, it is not just “snug”, we can cost someone an engine. There is little torque procedure! Please consult with someone.
That Vent Breather filter on your injen intake what size is it? I have one of those with a hose on it cause it was to small to fit straight to intake like yours. add w1 has it from 9mm to 25mm is yours the 25mm so I can order one?
Hey sorry for asking about different thing but I see u have the add w1 catch can with 3 hose mines had only 2 and the one on the bottom i plug it into the inner and the top on the outer is that right??
I believe he has the dual can setup, ive heard the intake tract doenst get as much oil in the can, but still good to have if u really want to take care of your engine and help keep the turbo as clean as possible!
Hey, are these spark plugs the same for the Veloster turbo or do I need a different model? I'm trying to find the correct model spark plugs that can hold a tune for a 2020 Veloster turbo ultimate but no information is available online for it

YES what Michael Said.
My Hyundai mechanic said 16-18 lbs/ft 🤔
@@esantiago8989 18lbs to 23lbs, you'll be fine. There is a treshold.
Factory Manual states:
Tightening torque :
14.7 - 24.5 N.m (1.5 - 2.5 kgf.m, 10.9 - 18.0 Ib.ft

Amazing camera angle I can totally see everything going on and what you did
right
Lol
Thanks the camera angles make it easy to understand.
The kink in the line on the back of your valve cover is not good.
Just for FYI for next time......always put a small dab of anti-seize on each plug, also use a vacuum tube to start the plugs in.

just saw that you had the ADD W1 catch can and I didn't see a vid on them?
Do you need to disconnect the negative battery terminal before installing sparkplugs?
Please link where you got the ADD W1 quick valve. Are they ADD W1 or another brand?
What is the appropriate gap for plugs
Hi men you can give the link to the instake?
on your injen intake what millimeter is that breather? so can order one from add w1.

I do have the 3.3 which is one can but goes to both sides.
So when are you doing your new tune setup looking forward to that.
Cindy Sue I’m already running it. I wanted to have it on for a few days to get some first impressions.

Yitzchak Rand i just confirmed that they are the same ones.
is that a PCV and CCV catch can?
Hey do you know if an after market cold air intake voids your warranty?
I can confirm it doesn't. Hyundai specifically confirms CAIs, intercoolers, and catch cans as still warrantied.
Buddy My vt is not tuned, so my question is can I still use those spark plugs or will I need another model for non tuned?
You should be able to use them. They are just gapped and better quality plugs. Genracer recommended them for racing Conditions
Yo so when running a cold air intake or just taking the cover off do you need to tune it because it’s getting more air or is it okay
no its ok. the stock ECU can compensate
Hey man, I read that the M45s are for tuned and m40 for a non tuned veloster.. why did you install the M45. Are you tuned?
I am tuned
he's tuned on jb4, has another video on it that references this video
Do you happen to know the NGK part number for the stock plugs?
What plug are you running
HKS
What model number

It is not a valve cover it is an engine cover.
Thank you for noting that is not a valve cover. Was driving me crazy!
