I love how this video shows what makes Bruno stand out compared to the other setters, he’s amazing in all volleyball fundamentals: he’s good at setting, defense, block, serving, spike, leadership. He’s also a very smart/intelligent player, and unlike 99% of setters he has an aggressiveness that is very rare among them, usually setters are more passive on court, they’re the calm, conniving bunch that just set the ball to their teammates and helps in the defense, occasionally doing a block, if they’re luck. But Bruno is not satisfied only with it, he loves to spike and block. Nowadays I’m seeing a new generation of setters that are like him, a good example are Micah and the Aussie setter, forgot his name, but Bruno was the first one to hold this style and I bet he inspired many young setters to come.
The best out of the best that's Bruno, I think one of the best in modern volleyball so far, it was a pleasure to see him play live here at Lube and he was the "plus" that made them win everything they played for.

Me too, it’s probably the hardest position in the volleyball team, they have milliseconds to think in a strategy for their team during a game, they’re also the ones who posses the best game/match perception, you need to be really smart to be a successful top tier setter.
Whenever I open the volleyball video the first thing that I notice in the comment sectiom is about haikyuu.This anime has made many people to think about volley ball and gave them the courage that is needed to play this game .....

I can't compare him to Kageyama because Kageyama is a genius whereas Bruno is like Oikawa or Miya Atsumu because he brings out the best of all of his teammates, I would compare Micah more to Kageyama because they both have amazing sets but they don't blend in with the team as well, they're both genius players who play very "alone"
