Why do rich people like living in homes that look like a combination hotel, museum, mall. When they get home don't they like arriving at a real "home" that's cozy, comfortable, and Private. In a house like this you are never private. There is always a maid, a gardener, a handyman working on something because if they don't it quickly falls apart. No thank you. I much prefer a 2-3000sqf home that is in fact a "home", private to do as I please whenever I please without laborers just a few steps away in my home.
Now if this was a hotel, I'd love to stay there for a few days, maybe a week, but no more.
I want to live in a large Holiday Inn Express connected to a 90's shopping mall with a bowling alley that looks like a cheap Disneyland faux chateau on the outside. Oh, and I want to bankrupt my generational wealth family to buy it....We have just the property!!

So many tacky design moments in that house, yuk, no continuity, just more proof that excess of money does not mean the person behind it has great taste or style.
