I used to have back acne ever since my pregnancies and one thing that was a game changer for me was washing my back with soap AFTER rinsing out your hair conditioner. It can leave behind residue (similar to how it does in your hair, that’s why it is so soft after) and washing your back after you rinse it out will help wash away the residue.

Secondly, I picked up the new Lancome Foundation- Teint Idole Ultra and I love it, especially for my Rosace! Plus I work two jobs and I begin my day at 8:00 am and end about 10:30 pm so this foundation holds!

I have been trying the Ami Cole, but it doesn’t reach Peach Perfect status for me. The consistency is not as finely milled and the translucent is so white on me. Maybe I need the middle shade. I still like my Danessa Myricks Evolution powder better. It’s my number 1 since Peach Perfect. For drugstore I like the Milani loose powder as well.
I’ve also been loving the Paula’s Choice exfoliant. Definitely influenced by UA-cam! Also loving the Haus Labs blushes.

Controversial opinion: I prefer that new Lancôme foundation over the Nars Light whatever foundation. For some reason the Nars foundation just doesn’t look…that great on me. And that’s beside the fact that the lightest warm shade is a touch too dark for me right now. Also another foundation that I bought TWO SHADES of 😭 the Dior forever Matte, looked horrible on me. I bought the Hourglass mineral veil primer on your recommendation so we’ll see if these foundations play nicer with me now lol. But yes, after your video I RAN to Ulta to get shade matched and then bought the Lancôme foundation at Macy’s with their 15% off beauty and my 10% cashback at Rakuten. 😊

I went to Ulta to try that Juvia foundation and it looked so dry on me :( I have oily skin too! I also tried the Vacation perfume, it lasted like 2 minutes lol so I put it back. I did pick up a few other of your faves though :)

Great vid! I’ve been wanting to dip my toes into Danessa’s products for some time now-but not sure which to begin with. You convinced me it’s those cream blushes! As I’ve matured, I only spot cover, but since then, cream contour/bronzers & blushes are really important to keeping my skin looking ‘alive!’ I really am surprised by how very much I like Drunk Elephant’s Rosy (?) Something (?? Sorry!) but is a gentle skin tone enhancing product similar to their D-Bronzer (?), which I don’t use (I prefer either Fenty’s or Colourpop’s cream bronzers), but on kinda ‘no-makeup days, & though my undertone leans red/peach, the Rosy product is amazing for giving life to mature (or I’m positive young skin), over a tinted moisturizer or such). Pricey, but lasts much longer than say my Chanel cream blush stick (even pricier!). I use all types of brands; not only high-end. I love Paula’s Choice-hv been using for over 5 years! They help put together just the products any age/condition needs-great rewards program (if purchased directly frm them), + get early notifications of sales etc… Also glad to see Juvia’s Place shoutout! I hv waaay too many of their products! I cannot resist! Fabulous blush individuals/palettes, bronzers, & eyeshadow palettes for ALL. Whether colorful or neutral, they offer pigmented products, in different finishes, that are easy to work with. I’m a huge fan of their Sunflower 🌻 & Pastels palettes, but b/c I usually can’t resist, hv like 15 eyeshadow palettes-& I actually use them frequently. I can vouch for nearly all of their products! I want their new liquid highlighter!
