Ingredients
350g lean beef
150g mushroom
1 tbsp Butter
1 tbsp oil
1 onion
1/2 tsp lazy garlic
1 tsp thyme
Salt & black pepper to taste
1 tbsp tomato purée
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
250 ml beef stock
Corn flour or gravy granules to thicken
Suet top
170g self raising flour
20g corn flour
60g shredded suet
225 ml milk
1/2 tsp thyme
Pinch of salt

oh my, what a funny couple you two are. it is so nice to see a couple that are as mad as his lordship and i, dont every change. you will weather any problems if you are as close as you both are. its so lovely to witness. now that pie is a a real rib sticker ready for the winter. it looked a smashing dinner. its so satisfying when you enjoy a meal. my new oven is also a 2800 watt. and i can get a large dish into it , which is very handy for big portions , love to my two lovely favourite people as alwaysxxxx
Hi Grace, I’m a little worried sometime because we find things funny that some find offensive. If you’ve worked in as many jobs as Wendy and me you learn to laugh it off. The 2800 watt frightened me at first but it’s fine because it’s so quick. You have cooked while the big ovens are still warming up 👏👏👏👌👍

The dual Cosori looks great and I’m thinking of changing from my current Ninja. Can I just ask what that meter is that showed how much it cost to run? I’m wondering if it’s a stand alone meter or smart meter.

The ellement is what uses the energy mate, If the unit is well insulated the ellement will be on less. SIMPLES! 😁 Think of it like putting a massive radiator in a tiny room, That room is going to get hot pretty quick.

I'm not sure if you know how to use that gadget or that you have the correct price chosen, as I am sure it would cost more than 17 pence to cook that meal in total, air fryer plus steamer?

Must admit I have never seen suet pastry poured on. I normally make it like any pastry then roll it out…
Hi Andy, I put a little too much milk do you think. That top is a little different to normal suet pastry, you really have to try it to believe it. 👌👍

Oh that looks so good,you can't beat a steak pie where the pastry is cooked on top of the meat,it's the soggy layer between the two that,s the best,I hate it when you go out for a meal and they serve the steak with a bit of pastry sitting on the top that has been separately baked,it just falls to bits when you put a knife on it,great video Graham and Wendy,very funny,I thought it was George and Mildred at the end 😂👍👋👋👋👋

I haven't had food like this since last century just like my late Mom used to make and boy how I miss it. Suet puddings, pastry and dumplings were always the best and just cannot be beaten. My Mom used to reefer to this pie as "Pie Crust" usually with steak and kidney. Never change the format of your videos you two, I find them really natural and enjoyable although poor Wendy gets to all the hard work. I would rather have a pie like that than a birthday cake, it is my birthday next month, just saying.... Off for my stale, dry bread and water now 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
