There is reincarnation and karma. Nothing either good or bad doesn't go unpunished in this world. Whatever you do, you will recieve the outcome, either good or bad. They could probably see your pain & desperation which made it easy to lie to you. God doesn’t benefit by making your life miserable why would He curse you?
