These 86 Corollas needs alot of patience & cash as well.
I still own Two 1986 GL-Saloon Corollas, the one with 7A-fe which produces around 130hp.
And I think maintaining this specific corolla is as difficult as German car.
So, Good luck to you for this project.
Indeed, so true, it's a true test of patience and a murder of the wallet 😂.
This car is on its stock engine, I rebuilt it as stated in the video to 118whp. Yet keeping its originality intact.
I would argue that German cars would be easier to maintain than a stock level AE80 Corolla.

What did it cost you to build the 2E as you imported the parts I think it might have cost you a lot so why didn't you go for a 4age first gen?
It can be found in Shoba bazar Peshawar.
Great build otherwise never seen anything like it in Pakistan.
Hi, so it cost me around 1.6 Lacs for the engine to be built and Dyno tested for the power figure. For the 4A-GE, the first gen aren't available in good condition and a modded 2E wasn't ever performed in Pakistan.
