Luther Dickinson is a national treasure.
He made me tune my guitar to open G and discover the brand new world. I was lucky and honoured to meet him some time ago in London. What a great dude!

What a great player he is! Very fluid & smooth. A funny guy when interviewed.
There have been and are lots of great guitar talents in the world, but really only three have just blown me away. Not saying they’re the best, or better than YOU’RE favorites, but for reasons that only my ears know, they are...Jeff Beck, SRV and Luther.
Duane Allman taught my ears to taste.
Holy Smokes dude, how did I forget Sky Dog? I think that comment was made on a wake ‘n bake day. Change my 3 to a 4. In fact, now that Fillmore East is playing in my head, I’ll make it 5 and put Dickey in there too.
Just weird camera work, this is a video about RIFFS. Focus in the player and the neck to see said riffs. Unbelievable.
Anything that involves ANY Dickinson is gonna part your hair. Did one session with Jim Dickinson and Jim Blake that changed my life it was so inspirational.Shake Em On Down!!!
I agree that the videography on this clip needs work, but was still able to pick up some useful tips for my own playing. Luther is one of our great guitar talents, especially when it comes to bottleneck, open tunings, and that incomparable North Mississippi mojo!
The ADD camera work gave me ADD but great interview with a great player.
En directo es espectacular. Hipnotiza.
Gotta love Luther!
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Great stuff by an excellent player. The video on the other hand :( The artsy in focus, out of focus, bobbing and weaving almost made me seasick. The man is showing and walking the viewer through the different licks and the video is all over the place but not focusing on the licks. This isn't art school.
not only that, he's literally standing in front of a microphone and you can't hear him at all half the time. :)
Check out Luther's solo on the Replacements song "Shooting Dirty Pool".
So fuckin good. Knowledge
The Blues!
This dude knows his shit
What a cat! Sweet player.
Luther Dickinson of North Mississippi Allstars is doing a live INTERACTIVE masterclass with Rock and Roll Fantasy Camp! Limited spots so make sure to get them while you can. This dude is such a killer player, I am definitely going just to meet and talk to him! www.rockcamp.com/masterclass.php

Luther speaks Memphis. That's all.
Was camera guy having a seizure? Literally unwatchable. Quit 1:39 in.
I love how people with actual talent try to explain to people like me with zero talent how to play music.
dude u know me u know my home adress u just need find me
What a shitty camera work, gave me a headache. It remarkable that the editor can survive the editing process.
This would have been great it not for the camera work. I’m a huge fan of Luther but had a hard time watching this. Sorry man.
Not into the camera work. Irritating!!
These are expensive shoes.Why?
Awful video, would’ve been a good segment if not for the camera work.
not cool after a quarter of mushrooms......
