In the "the jail is not a penal institution" case, Why yell at the defense for "stooping to use that as a defense"? That's LITERALLY their job? Do WHATEVER they can for the best outcome for their client, if there's a valid defense that will acquit the charges, no matter how stupid sounding, you take it

Well, that, and ensure that Prosecution didn't sail with a leaky ship...and prosecution missed the entire bottom.
Though granted, a law officer suffered life changing injuries and would miss out because of a loophole.

This is where the prosecutor should have been sanctioned. You prosecute the charge that sticks not the one you want. Keep your emotions out of the court room period.

Compare to the sovreign citizen trying to pay with gold. In both they are using semantics to get out of consequences and at that point it feels like mockery of justice even if technically correct.
Note that different from SC here it was likely a direct code (either describig what a facility is or what a jail is) while SC normally jump some loops to get what they want or just ignore the part that say they are wrong

I have seen people argue that stealing was ok because the person had plenty of money.

The simpler answer to the guy is to say "they aren't equal. But you can either pay in 250 federal reserve notes...or you can pay in 250 ounces of silver. Your choice!

Story 12: Why didn’t that guy sue the cops for breaking&entering, assault, and false imprisonment!? The second the bogus charges against him were dropped he should’ve filed a FAT lawsuit against them.

      Maybe because of qualified immunity?

He might be and didn’t mention it. It is TOUGH to sue the police, though, even for obviously fucked up actions.

Story 12 reminds me of the case I heard about where a cop injured his hand beating a suspect and then charged the suspect with Battery on a LEO for injuring said hand.

My uncle spent some time inside. One of the pedophiles claimed that a 4 year old girl was "asking for it" because of how she was dressed. My uncle is obviously no saint but even he was like holy shit!

Ah, as a teacher I encountered many students who did have grudges against punctuation. 😅

You're doing a fantastic job! A bit off-topic, but I wanted to ask: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How should I go about transferring them to Binance?
