Those huge leaves are actually FERNS growing on the ree's branches Finn. Thanks for the education Finn, a lot of Pinoys don't really know how sugar is processed. We learn something rom you every vlog! Antique is truly gorgeous so I think its time to visit my ancestors' province again! Its also great to see that they are teaching young people the art of weaving; I'd put a premium on their hand-made product!

I feel at home watching your video Finn. This is the view I see every time I go home from Iloilo to my hometown North of Iloilo. Beautiful green mountain ranges, rivers and a breath of fresh air. Many of my townmates from the U.S. went back to our hometown to retire and live peacefully. I'm looking forward for mine 20 years from now.😂
You're spot on with the mountain range... Been there 2004 with my dad, same thing I told him. Too bad I didn't grew up in our province, no regrets though it's just life. Thinking about going back to visit relatives back to my dad's home... Great lessons from your videos Finn! Thank you...

Beautiful drone footage. When I think about Palawan I always think about your videos. Thanks for bringing us there and sharing all the fun memories you have in Philippines.
Sugar cane, weaving, and mountains? YES!!! Count me in! This was a lot of fun. I think it's nice to go off the beaten path and avoid tourist sites every once in a while. The sugar cane looked very interesting. I could watch the whole process of refinement; and for sure not get bored. I thought the weaving was a very intricate process. How do they change colours to create a kaleidoscope in the final product? The mountains, next time we'll have to go hiking there. I would love to see the view from the pinnacle. Thank you Finn, this was fun and very enjoyable.
PS The trees were epic!!!! I, too, have a fascination and love for trees. I was wondering, did they tell you what species it is? The vast reaching of its branches creates such a nice shade.
Hi Finn, another nice video - brings me back to my childhood days. Its been years since I've seen one, but that sure looks like an acacia tree, except I would have expected more leaves. The tree you highlighted is almost bare. The leaves should be small and roundish. and small pinkish flowers when they bloom, I recall. What you see . the part with wider leaves, are ferns that stick on the bark of the tree, and get sustenance (water and nutrients) from the tree itself. The ferns are a different plant specie, and can be found on other shade trees, also. Take care.
Oh, my! I sooo love this video Finn! Thank you very much! You brought me back to my memories! Oh, how I miss my grandpa.😔💗 I miss chewing and sipping the juice from sugar cane. Amazingly so sweet!😊
I love the music... the girls are hot but the beer is cold...la la la.... pretty cool... what song is that? Really lovin your vlogs. Sorry Sherlyn left. she's nice to be around... hope she gets back...thanks for sharing your vlog, Finn!!!
wow that tree is majestic Finn, I saw lots of big trees here in Australia but that is amazing, each branch is like a forest on it's own. Thank you Finn for the tour.
Muscovado sugar is better than processed white sugar because the nutrients/natural minerals are still intact in the sugar granules like raw molasses....compared to white refined sugar where the sugar contains sulphur
Love the background music Finn... Have you tried munching sugarcane? Oops niw I saw you munching.. Healthy sugarcane juice Finn.. Its Acacia Tree Finnvery common where ever you go in tje Philippines 🇵🇭 Thanks for visiting Panay...
Epic drone shots, Finn! Great choice of music. The sugarcane....used to harvest them back in the day. Nothing like fresh sugarcane...really sweet. Thanks Sherlyn...hope to see you again in future vlogs. Ingat!
