I want the neo-Diversity Era to embrace all of the fashion and glamour of the Princess Era for all its body types. Give me Barbiecore dialed up to 11 on one of the petite curvy dolls, or the super-tall dolls, or the dolls with mobility aids. Let's get some new ballgowns! Heck, go back to a Y2K aesthetic for some of them and let's have some Space Channel 5 vibes. The Dream Besties are a neat concept (though I'm really not sure about the Ken leak....) that I'd love to see explore more fantastical outfits - a Halloween costume line or holiday spirit line or something. I also want the quality to improve on the dolls' outfits in this era. I have several dolls from those years and I managed to get both Day to Night Barbie and Ken together for a reasonable price from a seller on eBay who also sold me a NIB Peaches and Cream Barbie. I also have all of the Jewel Secrets dolls but want to buy new Barbie and Skipper dolls because they both have the spotty legs flaw common in that year’s dolls and my Skipper’s skirt and jacket deteriorated on their own inside the box and left a white stain on her belt. I am not pleased about this as Jewel Secrets Skipper is my favorite doll using that face sculpt. The only other classic dolls I need to get from the Girls can do anything years are Dream Glow Barbie and Ken. I’m not really interested in Crystal Barbie and Ken.

Favorite era: the first two. Closely followed by the '96-'02 era. Least favorite: Progress Era. Diversity doesn't have to be ugly and certainly deserves better than a T-shirt dress.
I think it’s interesting that she started in the teen model era as this aspirational glamorous girl next-door, but then in the progress era, she was more the relatable girl next-door
The Moment you show Totally Hair Barbie I literally got tears in my eyes… My parents still have the vhs tape of me opening her as a christmas gift , I wasn’t happy at all cause my sister got Dream Bride Barbie 😂 I was too young to understand why I got a different type of doll and I caused a scene on camera!it’s such a funny memory for me , thank you ❤
Totally Hair Barbie is my second favorite Barbie of all time. I want to get a good original version of her because the one I bought and unboxed has this flaw where the neck split itself apart and my doll’s head can’t stay on which made me upset because I really wanted to style her hair in the multi braid high ponytail look wrapped with the purple hair coil so badly. The reproduction doll’s hair doesn’t feel so nice and I don’t like how the one piece that had the wire in it in the original release is missing in the wire and ribbon in the reproduction doll as that was one of my favorite accessories due to how useful it was to create updos for the doll.
I’m a 90s girl so I miss late 80s and all 90s dolls. They are so pretty and full of glam and fantasy fashion. The Barbie Gala Collection Pink doll with the Odile face made me want to get her because she gives me some of those vibes I’m looking for.
never apologize for taking time off for yourself 💖 it’s wild to me that the fashionista era sold so poorly, considering how people talk up fashion avenue/fashion fever as being the height of quality and fashionability. hindsight is 20/20 i guess? but i’m a superstar era guy personally, day-to-night and peaches & cream were 2 of my 3 childhood barbies. 😍 however, i do have a very soft spot for the 2015-on barbies, with the introduction of the curvy body type. that would’ve been amazing for me as a child, and i’m glad the kids now have better diversity in dolls.
My kiddo was SO EXCITED to get her curvy Barbie. But then the quality of the doll was poor and the articulation was so basic that she was disappointed. It was kind of heartbreaking to see. She remained excited to have the curvy body doll but rarely played with her because of the aforementioned disappointment.
I am from the Mod/Malibu Era and THE most had to have doll from the Mod Era, . . . was P.J. I remember when my friend got a Malibu P.J. for her birthday. It was the first Malibu P'J we had seen. We never even knew she existed. She became the Holy Grail for many of us.
i need the glamour, the hyperfemininity, the glitz, the fashion again!!!! but with the diversity obviously like u said they can coexist and i hate that brands tend to act like inclusivity is being boring and bland. I loved the barbie movie but i hated how they made barbie lose her hyperfemine persona and taste of fashion to show her being "human" as if humans can't be glam. i expected it to be like legally blonde, that to me IS barbie, being true to yourself and confident with your likings and femininity. I hope they bring it back!!!!!
regarding your point about the movie, oh yeah fr tho!! i guess it was to better present the "contrast" of the barbieworld vs the human world but still...
i think the move away from pink and hyperfeminine would be better recieved if the decline in quality and style wasnt so steep. its perfectly possible to have well designed, fashionable styles that arent hyperfeminine, but for whatever reason they did not do that At All.
Doesn't have to be either or. I'm a short black curvy lady. I love fancy pink clothing. More big poofy dresses, over the top slacks and blouses, jumpsuits, blazers. The works. I don't care about practicality. I can't remember her last name. But, Dr. Lisa one of the OG Doctors was an OBGYN and she click clacked through the hospital and delivered babies in her high heels.
Even though I was fully an adult when they came out, I feel like the new fashionistas were my most loved (or at least purchased) barbie line. I absolutely echo your thoughts about them being an educational toy. I was running an after-school program at the time what had a lot of kids of color, and in particular, a kid with severe alopecia. The bald barbie I had in the doll bin (along with one with a prosthesis, a Ken with long hair, lots of textured hair barbies from the line) absolutely went miles in normalizing the way he looked for the rest of the kids. I do wish the clothes were a better quality though..... But tbh, they were affordable for me and that also went a long way towards me having them in my classroom...
Yes, the Stacey needs the glam make-up. My Malibu Barbie was always cast as the "Mean Girl", but Stacey was always a force for good, neither was an MC. My MC was Malibu Francie. Skipper, Scooter, Tutti and Todd were "in danger", likely from one of the Classic Barbies who were always The Villains, . . . because they were easier to get into the over complicated formal attire. Yes, my villains always looked fabulous. Francie, the heroine wore a red, purple and pink jumpsuit and booties. Gotta give Francis credit. Unlike EVERY female character in the 60's and 70', she didn't show up to climb a mountain wearing stilettos and a cocktail dress.
I'm 63 years old so I have grown up with all these Barbies. When I saw the superstar Barbie I fell in love, she and Malibu are my favorites. But I love them all. I go in my Barbie room and .ook at all their clothes and thier beautiful faces and I just smile. I just got the new Barbie core dolls. I love the clothes and hair.
I'm an 80s baby, so to me, the Superstar face IS Barbie. I distinctly remember feeling very disappointed when Barbie transitioned to the Generation Girl face when I was in high school. She didn't look like Barbie to me anymore! I didn't buy another Barbie for years (meaning Barbie herself- I still continued to buy Disney dolls). Other than a couple anniversary tribute dolls, I didn't buy a Barbie again until Barbie Extra a few years ago! I was so thrilled with the recent Barbie Rewind series- bought the whole set!
The 2000s and 2009s era of Barbie were my favourites. I absolutely love Barbie's aesthetic in these particular eras. My least favourite era is the 2015 era solely because of the major dip in quality...and also Millie's face sculpt 😬 If I were to decide a Barbie era I'd want her to be a down to earth girl with imperfections but absolutely have the pink glamour aesthetic she had in the fashionista era.Imagine how cute the different body types would look in fashions which are actually fashionable and not in papery one piece craps.
I love the 2000s era because when Barbie is competitive and ruthless she really thrives. Also the Neo Progress era I would want is to blend the inclusivity but make it whimsical. A great example ot the doll with a gliterry translucent leg prostetic. Just a balance between real world diversity and cunty fanshions
I'm so happy I got to experience my childhood during PEAK BARBIEcore eras. Nostalgia aside, the quality and detail that went into the 80s & 90s barbies (playline & otherwise ) was what we can only pray for in 'collector/deluxe' dolls nowaydays.
This was fabulous-thank you. Maybe tell us about where the original different Barbie clothes were made (and now, the cheaper materials etc.) and why they looked so nice back when and were made so beautifully. The little tags etc.-if you get the urge!
Great job on this video.💕 As a collector who was around when Swirl Ponytail came out, I can say I have seen quite a few of my collections come and go. From my first Barbie I was a huge fan, having grown up, collecting , then matured to give away and then later repurchase so many of my original dolls. Now two full rooms of boxed and open girls, and boys later. sit behind closed doors waiting for my life to slow down enough to truly appreciate them. They are all my favourites, but the day is fast approaching for me to pass them down. Since I was about six years old Barbie and I have truly grown old together.
YESS i actually saw some old holiday barbies (including her fav but in poor condition) and some 80s barbies at the thrift the other day and thought of this channel.. manifested a new vid today
Omg! I love breaking down Barbie's eras, it's one of my fav things to do haha. My fav eras are defff the Mod Era & 1997/8-2008 (The princess & queen era combined as you dubbed it haha). I love Barbie the best when she reflects real world fashions, hence why those eras just do it for me (I also just love mod fashion & late 90s-late 2000's fashion aesthetics). My least fav era is undoubtably the Progress era (no shock there lol). She's just very unfashionable and practical, which a fashion doll should NEVER be...I also hate the boxy body's that we have during this era and still now lol. I am also not the biggest fan of Barbie from 1977-1997...she's just very looney and pink and CRAZY lol. I know that's controversial but..Idk I was never the biggest fan of Barbies of these times. I still love a lot of the dolls that came out during these eras and would love to own them, but as a whole she's just too much of a looney bin for me.. I also find 2009-2014 Barbies, or the Fashionista's Era, to be INCREDIBLY overrated....yes she's very glitzy and glam and gorgeous BUTTTT the quality for the most part is a huge decrease from what we were seeing in prior years, and she was almost always dressed in mini dresses or weird scratchy material gowns. & all that glitter and pink overload didn't make it more appealing. I see a lot of people call this her best era, and it just makes me laugh because it certainly is not..it's a worse version of what the 2000's gave us mixed in with the campiness of the 80's and 90's but once again, worse..
@eatglue1207 I understand your reasoning completely, but Superstar Barbie in a huge pink ballgown and mania behind her big blue eyes speaks to me so personally.
@@DarlingDollz LOL and thats real! I see the appeal of her in those times 100% but it just doesn't fully do it for me..What are your thoughts on the fashionista era?
@eatglue1207 I like a lot of the dolls from it, especially the career dolls. But I also acknowledge that the quality wasn't too great and a lot of dolls have very same-y silhouettes. But I definitely respect the commitment to high glam.
@@DarlingDollz That's how I feel as well. There's plenty of great dolls from the era but a lot of it was just bad and cookie cutter esque...but the high glam was definitely a moment! Even the worst dolls still felt very glamourous which was fun. I also think its funny how people seem to love this era now, when back then many found it very boring and repetitive..which tbh I still feel that way about this era, it really is overrated despite me still liking some attributes of it.
I missed watching your new videos I was gonna ask when you’re coming back but then I saw the messages under your community tab and i totally understand but glad to see you back
thank you for this video!!! I've been thinking about this exact concept for a while and trying to research it and I just couldn't find any resources, the only think that came up when I searched 'barbie eras' was taylor swift 😭 thank you for enlightening us all 💚
Excited to watch the video but I had to jump in first and say your hair is so cute !!! ✨ Paired with the barbie sweater that is so your color oh I am obsessed
I'm so looking forward to seeing if Mattel will take a cue from the Barbie Movie's success and celebrate Barbie more. She's not just a doll, she's an icon! She can and should be confident in her image and just be herself!! That statement encompasses both her acceptance of different body types and her own identity as the Barbie-core queen!! 👑💖
Princess Era was my favorite, it's also the one I grew up in with my sister. I love all the Fashion Fever dolls and the Barbie movies that coincided with the dolls. ♡
I love each of the eras for different reasons. However I really wish they would bring back the big beautiful gowns from the early 80s for playline dolls like Crystal Barbie and Peaches and Cream. Yes we get can this for adult collectibles but playline budget dolls deserve more than tshirt dresses and smaller clothing items.
Although I love the different body types and diversity, I hate the progress era because of the Millie mold and the fashion. I hope Mattel keeps the diversity and give us great fashion in the future.
My favorite era for Barbie is the mod era and my least favorite is the progress era. Im really hoping the playline Barbie with the Odile face that Ive seen pictures of is an indication that Barbie is starting a new era.
For the previous and more recent eras, I just call them based on the decade that they're released lol (60s, 90s, Y2K, 2010s, etc.). I do some divisions when it came to when GG (Generation Girl) is first released, though. 1998 to 2001 - what I consider the "Transition era", and since it's not mentioned, this is also where the "Mackie" facemold is commonly used with GG and Superstar simultaneously. 2001 to 2004 - the "Y2K" era. 2004 to 2006 - "Fashion Fever" era. 2007 to 2008 - "Pre-Fashionista" era. I'm just biased for GG and Mackie during the years they're regularly used - mainly due to the Barbie movies, really.
Great vid!!! Shoutout to that time my parents were moving and when helping my mom clear out the attic, we found a bunch of early 70s Barbies that she had lying around with other childhood stuff and we literally just threw them away like trash. The recent collector me can't deal with this. Traumatic.
I love PJ from the Mailbu Barbie era. She's adorable. Cuter than Malibu Barbie for sure. And I actually like Stacey mould. But it doesn't look good with her lips the same colour as her skin
I would love to see you do an overview of the merch she's had over the years. To me growing up in the 90s the art in the colors books and such was super iconic with the big curly hair.
My favorite Barbies were mid 80s dolls. Angel Face Barbie and Twirly Curl (or something like that). I had the Hispanic version of the latter and I LOVED her.
4:10 since most era discussion heavily talks about the face molds and bodytypes i would rather say its closer to physiognomy. Anthropologie deals with the behaviour and sozial aspect what makes human human while physiognomy is how a human looks like.
With how variable Barbie was and how quick she was to adapt to times, it surprises that the movie portrayed the brand as superficial and vapid. As for being in charge, Mattel has a chance with the surprising popularity of Ken, I would push him as a boy's action figure, a collaboration with Hot-Wheels, for example, would be great, imagine a set where Ken is a mechanic and comes with his car and tools; a crossover with other Max-Steel and even DC.
I was raised on the princess to early fashionista era, so to see the aspirational vibe just DROP halfway through was just astonishing to see LIVE. what didnt help was the "Your too old for this" moment, so if a doll line floundered i blame the aunties 💅. dear god i want that fashion show barbie you showed off...
Memphis was a post-modern art movement Memphis designed furniture, fabrics, ceramics, metal, and glass objects from 1981 to 1987. Inspiration. Their style was inspired by Art Deco and Pop Art, which were popular then. Style. Memphis was well-known for its use of bright colors, geometric shapes, and bold patterns.
I love the mod era dolls, but I prefer the vintage era outfits. I feel a bit of nostalgia when I see the dolls from the late 90s and early 00s (as I was a child in that time), but since I wasn't allowed to have and play with Barbies, I don't feel very connected to them. So I kinda say I have that preference for the 60s dolls with an adult mind, without any trace of nostalgia 🙈 dunno if that's normal among collectors.
Let’s not forget about the other two iconic long hairlines Jewel Hair Mermaid Barbie from 1995 and Glitter Hair Barbie from 1993! 🩷🩷 Love your Chanel :)
Ive gotten into Barbie since the Odille mermaids. I see people saying she's overdone even though Millie has over 100 dolls and Odille only has less than 10. People complaining she looks too cartoonish or anime like. I don't like the modern Barbies that look too much like real people. I grew up with 90s barbie and Odille gives me that vibe but updated. I really hope we get her with a variety of hair and skintones. She would look gorgeous as an AA doll.
I'm 51, and have dolls from every Era. My favorite would be the first decade. The clothes were amazing. But the accessories! Wonderful tiny curlers, strappy shoes, records and record player. The only thing that compares would be the cool accessories in the 80s dreamhouse, with a stocked fridge. The worst was the 70s with the cheap budget clothed and accessories. Awful. We are nearly as bad now with the sad, cheap fabric choices. Bring back teeny functional buttons and zippers and realistic looking accessories so kids can pretend the grownup world again.
My favorite era is the first one. I think the outfits were so beautiful and glamorous. They showed a time when people actually cared how they looked and would rarely leave their homes without first making sure they dressed nicely. So of course, my least favorite era was the Progressive era as you call it. I think inclusion is great, but the outfits were so awful and showed how many people dress to this day. Really lazy, I’ll fitting, mismatched colors, just so egregious 😖. I’m happy that it seems Mattel is starting to move towards more pretty outfits, and actually allowing Barbie to be pink & feminine again.
I absolutely love your videos!💗 remember to take care of yourself though and to relax also i love all the shirts you wear in your videos especially this sweater
While for my own childhood I’d say the 2000’s were peak, I can’t deny that my 10 year old self wasn’t foaming at the mouth for the fashionistas.. I remember I had Cutie, Wild, Girly, Sassy and ironically Girly was my favorite one (I was not at all girly as a kid besides loving dolls tbh) I just adored the well designed fashion with all the pink. And I think the clothes being less high quality was made up for with all the articulation
Superstar is nostalgic for me as most of my dolls were hand me downs (I know one of them was the 1987 Doctor), but my first new, non-budget doll was Bubble Angel, so basically even if I didn't own a particular doll, I'm super nostalgic for that iridescent plastic fabric (like Crystal Barbie), and either a Superstar or the next face. I don't care much what Barbie does with her time, but the cheap clothes really grind my gears. I know with RH it was unsustainable, but maybe we could go some sort of middle ground between a badly printed rectangle for a dress and the incredible detail of an RH outfit.
Superstar and Queen Era. Millie would not be as disliked if not for the low quality of the dolls. I am hoping the Odile era (please) brings us back to quality and glamour.
The asian doll with the pink top and skirt and the sparkly clear false leg is where I want to see Barbie go to. It serves inclusivity, diversity, femininity, glamour all in one package. Albeit the quality is still lacking a bit but there is where I would like to see Barbie as a brand head towards.
Fascinating choice making 1987-1990 a seperate era but then combining 1997-2003 rather than splitting it around the time the belly button body came out. But I like your takes. Except the Malibu Barbie slander 😡(/j). That is actually one of my all time favourite eras somehow. I picture Barbie and her friends hanging out at the malibu beach in their bright yellow decorated bus, wearing warm colors, old-timey florals and peasant sleeves, while drinking Pepsi because they were sponsoring Mattel at the time and watching the sun set. It makes me feel nostalgic, even though I wasn't close to being alive.
As a barbie fan and longtime collector love your video great analysis of the different era's. My favorite will always be Superstar. Also love the current state I hope will continue but with better quality. My least favorite era would be early 2000 till 2015. Ihave always loved collecting dolls of the world because it was the only line to give us diversity and some unique face screenings so I actually really like the beginning of the Fashionista's showing more diversity but the fashions I agree were horrible never liked the shirt dresses. The Fashion Fever clothes especially in collab with Benetton were so cute.
I really like your vtuber model and i’m so excited for ur path going forward 🩷🩷🩷 If you have the time you should upload VODS onto youtube , i know some of us would love to be able to catch up with your vtuber life 😊🩷🩷🩷
In terms of faces, the progress and neo progress eras are giving. My personal favorite Barbie (at least when I'm not blinded by nostagia for the Barbies I grew up with), is Fashionista number 90. The June face is amazing, and I hope the Odile face becomes the new standard Barbie. But the fashion and quality is struggling, and I long for a return to form with the Princess era, aka, the Barbies that were on store shelves when I was young. I want the diversity of the new era dressed in the designs of the 2000s.
I wish they would make more of barbie life in the dream house, in the original way. Its still the best barbie show made. And it reflects the era of barbie it was made from. Id live to see the same consept (MUST include rachelle and ryan and closet) in the newest barbie era, to see what they would do diffrently and what would stay the same

regarding your point about the movie, oh yeah fr tho!! i guess it was to better present the "contrast" of the barbieworld vs the human world but still...
i think the move away from pink and hyperfeminine would be better recieved if the decline in quality and style wasnt so steep. its perfectly possible to have well designed, fashionable styles that arent hyperfeminine, but for whatever reason they did not do that At All.
I was born in 79 and Superstar Barbie is. “My Barbie”
My childhood in the '70 with Malibu Barbie, she still is special to me. Great video, I learned a lot, thank you.
Coming back for this after work. My little treat of the evening is a new darlingdollz video and drawing while I listen LMAO
man i need to dig out all my princess era barbies... thats where my core barbie memories lie
I'm on board: I like the Stacey face mold for Stacey, but not for Malibu Barbie.
Same, and for Casey's face on Francie!
Stacey really is a pretty doll.
@@PriscillaV1964 I got a Stacey a redhead with the short hair.
@@PriscillaV1964TUTTI AND TODD?! YOU MUSTN’T SAY THEIR NAMES!!!!!!
65 years and never discontinued or cancelled, not even once! Oh Barbie, the queen that you are!
I know all the eras by heart but ill always watch a video about it because its just so fascinating
The 2000s and 2009s era of Barbie were my favourites.
I absolutely love Barbie's aesthetic in these particular eras.
My least favourite era is the 2015 era solely because of the major dip in quality...and also Millie's face sculpt 😬
If I were to decide a Barbie era I'd want her to be a down to earth girl with imperfections but absolutely have the pink glamour aesthetic she had in the fashionista era.Imagine how cute the different body types would look in fashions which are actually fashionable and not in papery one piece craps.
Early gang!! I'm glad you were able to take a well deserved break, the world has been..... a lot lately
This was fabulous-thank you. Maybe tell us about where the original different Barbie clothes were made (and now, the cheaper materials etc.) and why they looked so nice back when and were made so beautifully. The little tags etc.-if you get the urge!
Please don't ever stop making barbie videos as your fabulous ❤❤❤❤
Great job on this video.💕
As a collector who was around when Swirl Ponytail came out, I can say I have seen quite a few of my collections come and go.
2004 to 2012 was definitely my favorite era, the introduction of the bigger ceo mold is literally the best choice they could ever make
your “hi hi!!” in the intro was genuinely so silly and sweet lol it made me smile instantly
I missed watching your new videos I was gonna ask when you’re coming back but then I saw the messages under your community tab and i totally understand but glad to see you back
thank you for this video!!! I've been thinking about this exact concept for a while and trying to research it and I just couldn't find any resources, the only think that came up when I searched 'barbie eras' was taylor swift 😭 thank you for enlightening us all 💚
The Princess era was my favorite.
The Memphis style was totally save by the bell era for me growing up.as a child lol i think i have pictures of the printed outfits i wore as a kid 😊
I just think of each face mold as a queen in a matrilineal line who are all named Barbie
Thanks! I enjoy your content and appreciate what you do ❤
For the previous and more recent eras, I just call them based on the decade that they're released lol (60s, 90s, Y2K, 2010s, etc.).
Traumatic.
OMG I have given things away to Goodwill that years later I am so freaking annoyed with myself for tossing aside.
Great video! Love your historical trip down memory lane! ❤
I love PJ from the Mailbu Barbie era. She's adorable. Cuter than Malibu Barbie for sure. And I actually like Stacey mould. But it doesn't look good with her lips the same colour as her skin
The Stacey mold looks so good....... on Stacey!
I would love to see you do an overview of the merch she's had over the years. To me growing up in the 90s the art in the colors books and such was super iconic with the big curly hair.
12:14 I just got an ad with an animated Barbie and that art style... 😂 I'm suddenly afraid for the current era
Totally hair babies was my most favorite one i owned as a little girl 😊
My favorite Barbies were mid 80s dolls. Angel Face Barbie and Twirly Curl (or something like that). I had the Hispanic version of the latter and I LOVED her.
So much Barbie fashions and I am here for it. I love big floofy, sparkly dresses but funky overalls can be so fun.
Another fantastic video! I'm very fond of the classic and mod eras.
Hey man, we live by "old school Taco Bell" aesthetic in this house
I love the mod era dolls, but I prefer the vintage era outfits. I feel a bit of nostalgia when I see the dolls from the late 90s and early 00s (as I was a child in that time), but since I wasn't allowed to have and play with Barbies, I don't feel very connected to them. So I kinda say I have that preference for the 60s dolls with an adult mind, without any trace of nostalgia 🙈 dunno if that's normal among collectors.
looking forward to the debut!!
Let’s not forget about the other two iconic long hairlines Jewel Hair Mermaid Barbie from 1995 and Glitter Hair Barbie from 1993! 🩷🩷
Love your Chanel :)
She would look gorgeous as an AA doll.
omg HII im so excited for this video!
so excited 🥹
we need goth era barbie
Barbara has so many looks
I'm 51, and have dolls from every Era. My favorite would be the first decade. The clothes were amazing. But the accessories! Wonderful tiny curlers, strappy shoes, records and record player. The only thing that compares would be the cool accessories in the 80s dreamhouse, with a stocked fridge. The worst was the 70s with the cheap budget clothed and accessories. Awful. We are nearly as bad now with the sad, cheap fabric choices. Bring back teeny functional buttons and zippers and realistic looking accessories so kids can pretend the grownup world again.
I for one welcome our new Odile overlord
Queen era is the one that makes me feel nostalgic - that's the barbies I grew up with :')
While for my own childhood I’d say the 2000’s were peak, I can’t deny that my 10 year old self wasn’t foaming at the mouth for the fashionistas.. I remember I had Cutie, Wild, Girly, Sassy and ironically Girly was my favorite one (I was not at all girly as a kid besides loving dolls tbh)
I just adored the well designed fashion with all the pink. And I think the clothes being less high quality was made up for with all the articulation
looove this the 2010 era was so underrated
I’d like to see themed fashion packs to come back. I’d also like a Skipper fashion pack line
I really like your vtuber model and i’m so excited for ur path going forward 🩷🩷🩷 If you have the time you should upload VODS onto youtube , i know some of us would love to be able to catch up with your vtuber life 😊🩷🩷🩷
"That's my friend, Barbara" 💅 hehe! I am sooo here for an Odile era 🥹💕💖
I love your Christmas Barbie sweater! 🖤 I wonder if they have it in black.
I want the diversity of the new era dressed in the designs of the 2000s.
love your sweater glad you back I love superstar barbie 1980s
Welcome back woot woot!
18:48 I had this doll but my mom either put it away somewhere and forgot or gave it away 😭 I hope she just forgot and will find it
superstar mold is the best imo but i'm biased bc that's what i grew up with lol
i think the queen era might be my fave
I wish they would make more of barbie life in the dream house, in the original way. Its still the best barbie show made. And it reflects the era of barbie it was made from. Id live to see the same consept (MUST include rachelle and ryan and closet) in the newest barbie era, to see what they would do diffrently and what would stay the same
