They’re more comfortable than the highs because the 85 have that narrower sole (more like a dunk) where as the lows have the regular width sole of the retro jordan 1s.

It's not only the swoosh they missing a 5th lace hole on the top of it... But still got a personal pair coming my way even 5 pairs, the first time winning that many raffles.
The Stock was very high. I won 4 raffles.
They're clean but something about these is off to me compared to the 2015.
this '21 version's vamp is too shallow due to only having 7 lace holes (vs 8 in 2015). proportions are wack - look how large the foot opening is esp compared to OG & 1st retro

Does anyone know any other similar jordan 1 lows to this one? I actually like these, they went great with a grey suite that I wore. I love that they arent too bulky, any other similar ones to these as far as not too bulky, similar leather and colorway that would go with everything you wear? Thanks!

I love my lows it was the easiest cop of the year walk into offspring and waiting on the shelf. Yes you heard right 😝. These are great next to TS 1 low ghost greens just waiting for the shattered backboard and TS1 Frags to come out in August
Passed on this cause I have the AJ1 low Berlin’s / smoke grey elephants but still a super clean shoe!

@@Roadruuner OG colourway yes but the proportions are off due to fewer lace holes vs OG & 1st retro. easy pass, JB dropped the ball here
@@6ix835 1 lace hole doesn't kill the shoe, although they should have done them right. These are much nicer overall than the fat tongue J1s that are half way to a dunk. At least we got the OG tongue and tag back. Much more important than one eyelet.

These lows are defo a cop besides not exactly true as the same previous low release swoosh not as large it’s still 🔥 IMO. The leather feels good , best on a low . Slept on as not currently hyped also the higher retail price but I can see these being sought after later. I won’t mind paying £20 more for higher quality leather AJ1 High/ low than plastic dunks which the hype is gna fizzle away.

I copped 2 pairs for retail but still disappointed on how they turned out. Can say I’m nit picking but I want as true to the OG as possible, which they did in 2015/16, however these ain’t it!! It’s not just the swoosh but even the stitching on the panel near the toe is off along with missing a lace hole. These are based off of Eric Kostons Jordan 1 Low collabs
Hello I copped these but when I received them I noticed the laces are slightly off white.... is that normal?
I hit on SNKRS, very similar to the off white dear summer dunks coming out soon without the net lacing system.

P.S. Folks will nitpick about differences, but every "OG" Air Jordan Retro release has differences...literally EVERY single one is off when compared to the OG.

Shame you had a bad experience with your 85s. I’ve been wearing mine consistently and they finally started creasing up on the side panels and loosening up a bit more around that area.
I was able to get a pair from an in-store Atmos raffle. Only like 10 people showed up so everyone copped. Not hyped now but doesn't seem like they made a ton of pairs. Resell gonna be interesting in the long-run.

Why is the 2015 pair so much more if differences are so minor? Kinda of funny to me, doesn’t make sense
there was a lot of stock for this '21 release incl 3 variants - M, W & Y sizes. plus many collectors value OG details esp 8-hole eyelets (vs 7) - proportions are really off esp on men's '21 pair

On the high, the insole is thicker. I switched it out with one of the normal thin Jordan 1 insole and it’s now so much more wearable!! With the OG insole it was DESTROYING the lateral part of my foot

You might be judging the high a bit to quick here. How many times have you worn yours JD? I’ve worn them many times and I’m starting to see the leather soften up
atleast 10 times. They have barely softened up. How many times have you worn yours?
@@JoshDominic atleast 4-5 months of just wearing these almost everyday. The leather just takes waaay to much time to though 🙃
@@JoshDominic It's full grain leather, it takes months of wear to break in. But once it does it is objectively superior to this leather. Although these are definitely nice and soft out the box.

The reason why the shoe is super underrated and I might even say «underappreciated» by most is because they say their feet hurt and that «the leather is too stiff» I haven’t seen any single video here on youtube where some sneakerhead have beaten them up or have been wearing them alot. I might just take matter into my own hands and document every 3 months of wearing the shoes just to prove everybody that their wrong hahahah. It’s gonna be a long shot!

Can always depend on you for good reviews! I want to know what big sneaker influencer criticised these shoes because a lot of youtubers are pretending to be underwhelmed with the shoe because of the 'quality' and the swoosh. Yes the swoosh is smaller but its not that serious.
