原作連載、旧 TV アニメシリーズ放送から約半世紀の時を経て、 あの大正浪漫少女漫画の金字塔『はいからさんが通る』が新作劇場アニメーションとしてよみがえる！ 劇場版『はいからさんが通る 前編 ～紅緒、花の17歳～』。
1975年～1977年まで「週刊少女フレンド」（講談社刊）にて 連載された日本少女漫画史に燦然と輝く傑作、大 和和紀による「はいからさんが通る」（第１回 講談社漫画賞少女漫画部門受賞）。1978年にはテレビアニメシリーズ（全42話）が放送され、そ の後、劇場実写映画（1987年公開 主演 南野陽子・阿部寛）、ＴＶドラマ（1979年、1985年、2002年）などこれまでに多くのメディアミック ス展開がされてきた本作が、連載40周年を記念して、2017年、装いを新たに新作劇場アニメーションとして前後編で復活！尚、後編では旧テレビア ニメシリーズでは未完となった原作のラストエピソードまでを初、完全アニメ化！紅緒と少尉の恋の結末は…。
この度、ハイカラさんも木から落ちる!?紅緒と少尉が偶然出会う本編映像が到着！
主人公の紅緒（早見沙織）が幼馴染の蘭丸（梶裕貴）と凧揚げをしていたところ、偶然通りかかった少尉こと伊集院忍（宮野真守）と出会うシーンを収めた本編映像。木に引っかかった凧を取ろうと、木に登る紅緒。するとそ こに白馬に乗った軍人が！袴がはだけてしまっている紅緒を見られまいと、「わー！こ っち来ないで！上を見ないで！あっち行って！」と思わず叫ぶ声を上げる蘭丸。蘭丸の声に驚き紅緒がバランスを崩すと、その瞬間木の枝が折れ落ちてしまう。しかし木から落ちる紅緒を青年将校が見事にキャッチ！少尉と運命的な出会いを果たすものの、腰に手を当てられたケンカっ早い紅緒は早速少尉に平手打ち！はたして この二人はどうなるのか!?波乱万丈な物語を予感させる映像となっている。

I really admired Benio's personality for not conforming the norm and by being true to herself but I really cried so hard when she decided to sacrifice her love for Shinobu just to reciprocate Chief's sacrifice for her. The break up scene was so heart breaking. I also didn't expect the earthquake to happen and I felt sorry for those lives who are lost at that event.
I'm glad that all characters were happy in the end. The ending made me satisfied. //

I realized, that this is the first anime I've seen where they actually show the guy moving to get to the girl before catching her. They usually just cut the scene. An example would be in the first episode of Magic Kyun Renaissance. If you haven't seen it btw, go watch it. It's really cute
